Quick Facts About Chez Coor's Nottinghamshire
Chez Coor's Nottinghamshire place has several strengths that make it a popular dining destination. Firstly, many customers praise the taste and quality of the food. A visitor mentions that the food tasted similar to the cuisine in their home country, indicating that Chez Coor's Nottinghamshire place stays true to authentic flavors. Additionally, the comment about the curried mutton being "absolute heaven" speaks to the high quality and deliciousness of the dishes.
The atmosphere and service also receive positive feedback. Customers describe the restaurant as having a lovely family atmosphere and being made to feel special on occasions such as birthdays. The friendly and attentive staff contribute to a warm and comfortable dining experience. The layout and decor also help create an ambiance that gives customers a genuine Caribbean feeling, adding to the overall dining experience.
Customers appreciate the variety of options available in the buffet. Reviewers mention a good selection of curries, vegetables, and Jamaican dishes, indicating that Chez Coor's Nottinghamshire place offers a diverse menu that caters to various preferences. Furthermore, the comment about the buffet being suitable for a Christmas Eve family reunion party suggests that the restaurant can accommodate large groups and special occasions.
However, there are some weaknesses that should be addressed. One comment mentions the limited choice for desserts, which may be disappointing for customers who enjoy a wide selection of sweet treats after a meal. Another concern raised is the placement of the coleslaw next to the desserts, leading to confusion. Proper arrangement and clear signage could help alleviate this issue.
Pricing also becomes a weakness as one customer comments that £20 for the buffet is a bit pricey, especially for a team lunch option. This might hinder some individuals or groups from visiting the restaurant regularly if it is outside of their budget. However, it is important to note that another comment mentions that the food was worth the price for a more leisurely dining experience with friends.
In summary, Chez Coor's Nottinghamshire place has strengths in terms of delicious and authentic food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. The variety of options in the buffet also receives praise. However, the limited dessert choices, confusion with the coleslaw placement, and the perception of high pricing for some customers are areas that could be improved.

Came here for the first time last friday and the food was good and taste quite similar to the food where im from. All meat are halal except pepper steak. Not much choices for The dessert and the coleslaw was placed next to the dessert which lead to confusion . Also £20 for the buffet is a bit pricey imo.
First trip but definitely not the last..really good selection of curries, vegetables and everything else Jamaican...lovely, friendly staff. Car park next door £3 for two hours..definitely worth visiting
Lovely family atmosphere, lovely people, and LOVELY FOOD.. I had my birthday meal here and was made to feel very special. Would defiantly recommend
Attended here over the weekend with my partner as we were staying over in Nottingham. The layout and decor gives you that real Carribean feeling and dining experience. The buffet has a variety of delicious options, the curried mutton in particular is absolute heaven. The staff were so friendly and attentive and made the experience so warm and comfortable. Really wish we had a Carribean cuisine set up like this in Sheffield. Will definitely be attending again next time we visit Nottingham. ????
We had a brilliant Christmas Eve family reunion party. The service was excellent. Plenty of food choices all of fantastic quality.
It was a great relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to everyone at Chez Coors's for a wonderful afternoon.
Food was delicious and we all came away stuffed, service was really friendly but we were a bit surprised by the bill. We didn't check the price before we ordered and it came in about £18 a head for a buffet and one drink. Lovely food but that puts it a bit out of our price range for a regular team lunch option which is a pity. Definitely worth it if you're going to spend a while dining out with friends though.
AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE. We ordered food for 20 at home its was just the best . It was served in large professional stainless dishes with the heating gel and candles as the owners were keen for us to keep it at the correct temp. The presentation was very impressive the taste was every bit true Jamaican food. We ordered Rice and peas , curried mutton and a chicken dish which came as two types delicious . Added was a fresh salad and the most yummiest coleslaw. It was quality and enhanced our celebrations. Thank you guys . We will see you soon in i must say 7 your very inviting restaurant. Thank you once more .
Came here recently and was greeted with the best reception. They went out their way to make sure we received the full 'Caribbean experience'. Food was delicious, would 100% recommend.
