Quick Facts About CND Nails
CND Nails Place, based on the comments provided, has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. It is important to analyze both aspects to provide a comprehensive understanding of the business.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that CND Nails Place has a loyal customer base. One commenter mentions that they have followed the owners to different locations for over twenty years. This loyalty speaks to the excellent service and the quality of work provided by Tom and Savan, who are referred to as "good people" in the comment. This implies that the owners have built a positive reputation and have established meaningful relationships with their clients. Furthermore, the commenter mentions that they highly recommend the salon, which indicates a level of satisfaction with the overall experience.
Additionally, another commenter praises the expertise of one nail technician, Tom, in meeting their expectations. This reinforces the notion that CND Nails Place has skilled professionals who are capable of delivering high-quality nail services. The commenter also mentions that the prices are reasonable, suggesting that the business offers competitive pricing in the market. Furthermore, the salon uses reputable product lines, which indicates a commitment to using high-quality materials in their services.
Moving on to the weaknesses, several negative comments highlight specific issues with the services provided. One comment mentions that the dip powder application was done poorly, with the color not reaching the cuticle and the nails appearing scuffed up. This implies a lack of attention to detail and quality control during the nail application process. The commenter also mentions that the manager's response to their complaint was not satisfactory, as they were only offered a gift card to the salon instead of a refund. This indicates that the management may not be adequately addressing customer concerns and may be lacking in customer service skills.
Another negative comment highlights a decline in service quality, specifically in relation to pedicures. The commenter mentions that the service has become rushed and lacks the personal touch that was previously provided. This suggests that there may have been changes in staff or management that have negatively impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the commenter notes a lack of communication between the service provider and the customer regarding their preferences for shaping their toes. This indicates a potential lapse in customer service and attentiveness to individual needs.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the high pricing of the services. One commenter mentions that they felt the prices were "pure robbery," and another mentions that the salon uses cheap acrylic, which causes their nails to come off in just four days. These comments suggest that customers may not feel they are receiving a fair value for the prices they are paying. This could potentially deter new customers from choosing CND Nails Place as their preferred salon.
Lastly, one commenter raises concerns about the salon's adherence to health codes. They mention that their nails turned yellow within a week and that the salon refused to apply a UV top coat. This suggests a potential lack of proper sanitation practices and adherence to industry standards, which can be a significant cause for concern for customers who prioritize health and safety.
In conclusion, CND Nails Place has a loyal customer base and skilled professionals, which are strengths that contribute to a positive reputation. However, the salon has several weaknesses, including issues with quality control, customer service, declining standards in service delivery, high prices, and potential concerns about health and safety practices. These weaknesses need to be addressed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a competitive position in the market.

I had my nails done with dip powder for a wedding. The dip looked horrible. The color did not even reach the cuticle and the nails were all scuffed up. I called the manager and asked for a refund and he told me he could redo them or give me a gift card. I explained that I didn’t want a gift card to somewhere that didn’t do nails well. He said that was all he could do because he couldn’t control the dip powder. I told him it wasn’t the powder and that he was in a rush because they were overbooked and understaffed. Horrible experience. I will not go back.
Honest Family Owned business! Tom and Savan are so good at what they do and such good people that I have followed them each time they moved their location and have for over twenty years. I drive from Bullitt County to Indian Hills in Jefferson County to get my nails done. That says a lot. I highly recommend CND nails! Excellent service and Excellent people!
This used to be my go to pedicure spot as the pedicure would last 45 min to an hour with lengthy massages and detailed feet treatment. Today was in and out of the chair in less than 25 mins. So disappointing. Person giving the service didn't ask me my opinion on how to shape my toes. Prices also went up which I completely understand but service shouldn't fall when prices rise. Guess I have to find a new place.
Great pedicure, dipping powder nails were on too thick. Plenty of colors to choose from. Decent customer service. No price list and the prices are pure robbery. $170 for gel pedicure, regular pedicure and 2 sets of dip powder later...one and done!
My nails turned yellow within a week and they refused said they didn’t have any uv top coat. I’ve gotten my nails done for 17 years and this is the first place that wouldn’t put top coat on to keep the French looking great longer. Nails are not supposed to turn like this I don’t know if they are up to health code or not
I am notorious for being extremely picky about my nails. Tom did an excellent job of meeting all my expectations and was very patient with my many little questions. First time in my life I haven't had to ask someone to fix something before leaving! And their pedicure massage chairs are [amazing]!!!! To top it all off, their prices are reasonable and they use very reputable product lines. A+
People are nice but they use cheap acrylic and my nails always come off in 4 days.
Terrible experience. The owner was yelling at staff and customers about how understaffed they were. I watched numerous people come in who had appointments and the owner quite literally yelled at them saying that he cannot be responsible for this and that they are just so busy. Sir, these people had appointments and you couldn't service them but you were still taking walk ins? Makes no sense. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. After waiting for 45 minutes (when I was told the wait would only be "a few minutes") the same owner rushed through my dip manicure. My nails were not filed evenly, he made them completely rounded after I specifically asked for squared, my tips were put on crooked, and when I asked him to fix my tips before putting the dip on he huffed and puffed. Then he made my cuticle bleed and instead of cleaning it with alcohol or holding a tissue to it he just left it and it smeared across my nail. He went to put the top coat on and I said "hey there is a blood streak across my nail, would you mind wiping that off?" and again, I was met with huffs and puffs. Definitely will not be returning and I would not recommend supporting a place that treats their customers and employees as poorly as this man does.
