Quick Facts About Desi House

Desi House has received mostly positive comments, indicating several strengths of the restaurant. One of the strengths mentioned is the quality of the food. Many customers describe it as "really nice" and "excellent." They appreciate the home-style, authentic taste of the curries and appreciate the unique flavors that differentiate Desi House from other takeaways. The chicken tikka on naan and the chicken Persian are specifically mentioned as delicious dishes. The restaurant also offers a pizza option, which is said to be tasty. The use of HMC sourced chicken and meat is also seen as a positive aspect by some customers.
Another strength mentioned is the affordability of the food. One customer describes it as "cheap enough." This suggests that Desi House offers good value for money, making it accessible to a wide range of customers. The large portion sizes and the inclusion of items such as salad and foiled-wrapped chapatis are appreciated by customers.
The friendly staff is another strength mentioned by customers. They describe the staff as pleasant and appreciate the good service provided. It is also mentioned that the food was delivered on time and was still hot when it arrived.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One of the main weaknesses noted is the slow service. This could potentially be a problem for customers who are looking for a quick meal and may have limited time to dine-in or take away. The small seating area is another weakness mentioned. It is suggested that the restaurant could benefit from installing small booth-style seats with mood lighting to improve the atmosphere.
Another weakness highlighted is the lack of parking options. Although there is parking available on the main road, it is mentioned that it can be an issue. Customers recommend finding side streets for parking instead. The lack of ambiance is also seen as a weakness, with one customer describing it as a "purely street cafe atmosphere." It is suggested that Desi House could benefit from a professional makeover to improve its ambiance.
In conclusion, Desi House has several strengths, including the quality and taste of its food, affordability, and friendly staff. However, there are some weaknesses, such as slow service, limited seating, parking issues, and the lack of ambiance. Addressing these weaknesses could help Desi House further improve its overall customer experience.

Best TL Reviews

Really nice food from this little gem of a place. Would highly recommend. I have had the cirries in the past and have always enjoyed them, and found them very authentic home made style, not the usual takeaway style curry.
I recently had the chicken persian on naana nd chicken tikka on naan. Both were lovely. The persian was not the standard that you get from most takeaways, it was quite unique, and i would definitely have it again. The chicken tikk on naan was a real winner. Succilent and soft peices of chicken, the standard "make your fingers red" sauce/gravy, and a lovely home made flavour. The sauces they put on were very tasty also.
There is parking outside on main road, and a small amount of seating inside. I probably wouldnt come with the family, but would come with some friends.
I also believe the chicken and meat, as well as kheema they use are all HMC sourced (although not HMC certified, so please check yourselves if you want).
I would definitely recommend this place
We ordered fried rice, lamb chops, fries and a lamb biriyani. The food was alright.  Not the worst or the best, but average,  in my opinion.
Food taste good and staff are pleasant.
Service is slow.
Atmosphere is too open and everyone can see what you are eating. Maybe they could install small booth style seats with mood lighting in the future when they do a refit/makeover. The place does need a professional makeover.
The food is very nice served hot and tasty, including the pizza option. I have heard that they substitute beef for the lamb in their mince and lamb curries, which is a cheaper option. So we stuck to the chicken options. Parking is an issue, but side are streets available. There is no ambiance, purely street cafe atmosphere and the food is cheap enough.
Chops to die for, best chicken n lamb karahi I’ve eaten in Bolton in a very long time. Finding a decent curry isn’t easy in Bolton but this place is a true gem, don’t go by the Decor or simple menu. The food is simply on a different level. Paya was like it was home cooked ????????????????????????
Food came piping hot we ate approximately 20 mins after delivery. Chapatis were huge and soft and wrapped in foil to keep them warm and soft. Salad was fairly decent better than expected, like to see more tomatoes in salads these days.
No nonsense food place which serves home made curries which are exceptional and give so called restaurants a run for they money
Great food ,great service, pricing also decent.friendly people..first time here thoroughly enjoyed it..the food was on time and all piping hot..
Excellent food. Poor service and small place. But again Excellent food.
Authentic Indian food, if you are after fresh and tasty food with a traditional taste, this is your place. Best dish is the khari gosh
