Quick Facts About Divine nails & Spa Lathrop CA
Divine Nails & Spa in Lathrop, CA has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. To provide a comprehensive analysis, we will examine each aspect mentioned, including nail services, customer service, treatment of different customers, cleanliness and safety measures, and appointment management.
Starting with the strengths, one commenter mentions the "amazing and friendly staff" and how they loved the outcome of their nails. Another customer also praised their technician, stating that the job was done well and that the end product was clean and professional. This indicates that Divine Nails & Spa has capable and skilled technicians who can deliver satisfactory results. Additionally, the commenter appreciates their safety precautions, including wiping down chairs, using screens for germ protection, and providing plastic in the bowl before use. These measures show their commitment to maintaining hygiene and ensuring customer safety.
In terms of weaknesses, several of the comments highlight issues with the service quality. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the slow service and the nails being thicker than desired, as well as the rushed nail art, which resulted in messy nails. The lack of attention and remedial action taken by the staff when asked to fix the issues further adds to the negative experience. Another customer had a similar experience with their pedicure, where the technician ignored their request for thinner white tips and ended up hurting their toe. The unsatisfactory service quality mentioned in these comments indicates a weakness in the attention to detail and communication between customers and staff.
One significant concern raised by a customer with alopecia is the inappropriate treatment they received. The manager made a joke about their prosthetic hair, implying racial discrimination and insensitivity. This behavior demonstrates a clear weakness in the staff's professionalism and respect towards customers. It is essential for businesses to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers, regardless of their backgrounds or physical attributes.
Another customer comments on the durability of the dip. They state that it chips easily, even after just one week, which is unusual compared to other places. Although the prices at Divine Nails & Spa are considered good, the lack of longevity in their services may deter some customers who value long-lasting results.
Furthermore, appointment management appears to be an issue. One customer had to wait for almost 20 minutes after their scheduled time, while another mentioned waiting for 30 to 40 minutes due to walk-ins being prioritized. This inconsistency in honoring appointments can lead to frustration and a sense of disrespect towards customers who made an effort to schedule and arrive on time.
In conclusion, Divine Nails & Spa in Lathrop, CA possesses several strengths, such as friendly staff, skilled technicians, evident safety measures, and reasonable prices. However, weaknesses are also present, including slow service, lack of attention to detail, disrespectful treatment of certain customers, durability issues with certain products, and inconsistencies in appointment management. Addressing these weaknesses would greatly improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction at Divine Nails & Spa.

No I did not like this place at ALL, the lady that did my nails was so slow. I asked for tapper square nails she gave me SQUARE nails. She also left them really thick left some nails bigger than the other ones and the 2nd lady that did my nail art din not do a good job she was in a rush and left them really messy it looks like I did them myself (ugly) I had to ask both of them to fix some stuff they ignored me and the nails were falling off while she was filing them. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED
I went in for a pedicure and got French tips. The lady who started my pedicure was doing a good job & then another lady came & took over to finish. I told her that the white tip was too thick and I wanted it thinner she basically ignored me and continued to paint with the gel polish. I know I told her again that I wanted them thinner and she started piling my toe nails down to try to make the tip thinner she fell down so short that my toe is now hurting. The lady that took over was very mean to the lady that started my pedicure. I will never go back there again!
I have alopecia, a medical condition of hair loss. The manager had to point out that she knew my prosthetic (wig) wasn't my hair. I she made a joke of it. Notice they treat people of color differently here. Will never return.
Amazing and friendly staff. Love how my nails came out ????????
My tech did a Great job. Only had to tell her once what i wanted & this is the end product. Clean & professional, they whip down chairs after each client, they have screens up to protect possible spread of any germs, they put plastic in the bowl before use, they check temps & have you sanatize before entering establishment. Overall i was pleased with their safety precautions and my techs ability to do the service i wanted. 5 star experience
Their dip is cheap. It chips so much even a week after, not sure why this has never happened before anywhere else. Good prices though but doesn't last as long as other places.
I was referred by my friend who’s been a customer for 3 years. I made an appointment for 2:30 for a gel pedicure herbal spa
package. I arrived at 2:20 and I wasn’t seated until after 2:40. The service was good. However, the owner confirmed my payment method with my technician in the midst of service (Which is fine bc I’m used to paying before service at other locations bc due the service amount). She stated I would paying with Apple Pay and was confirming they accepted it.
The owner, Elaine, had the AUDACITY to say, “Yes we do but we don’t except food stamps” and laughed like its the funniest joke in the world. She made me feel so embarrassed. I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of my service, I felt so targeted and uncomfortable.
First off the owner Elaine is a rude Bit**
All the techs are so very pushy especially if you dont want gel they will act so rude and keep asking many times after you say no. It makes the experience uncomfortable then they all talk to eachother and look at you making you even more uncomfortable. Also they don't respect appointment times. I've made appointments and waited 30 to 40 minutes because they ended up taking the walk ins that cake before me.
