Quick Facts About Eat @ Quorum
Eat @ Quorum Place has a number of strengths that contribute to its appeal. Firstly, the menu offers a variety of options, including a sandwich of bacon and brie. While there was a comment about this particular sandwich being served cold, it is important to note that taste preferences can vary, and what may be disliked by one individual may be enjoyed by another. Additionally, the lunch special of Spanish Chilli is recommended, as it offers a mild chili with added chorizo and the choice of chips or rice.
The pricing at Eat @ Quorum Place is considered good value by some customers. With breakfast options available for under £5, inclusive of coffee for those dining in, it provides affordability without compromising quality. The presence of unique items like hash browns and poached eggs, not commonly found at neighboring food establishments, is also seen as a positive aspect.
Another strength of this eatery is the friendly staff. The overall service experience is commended by multiple patrons, who appreciate the attentiveness and pleasant demeanor of the employees. The fact that the food is cooked fresh to order is also regarded positively, ensuring quality and satisfying individual preferences.
In terms of weaknesses, one issue raised by customers is the use of bare fingers instead of gloves or tongs while preparing sandwiches. This raises concerns about hygiene, as it is generally expected in the food industry to follow standard practices such as wearing gloves or using utensils when handling food. This observation may discourage some customers from returning to the establishment.
Moreover, there are occasional complaints about the owner or certain staff members being grumpy or rude. This negative attitude can negatively impact the overall customer experience, as exemplified by the comment about being shouted at when collecting a lunch order. Such behavior can leave a lasting negative impression and potentially deter customers from revisiting the restaurant.
Another weakness mentioned by one customer is the poor presentation and quality of the food, particularly given its high price. The customer felt that the cost did not match the overall experience, indicating a potential discrepancy between the perceived value and the actual delivery of the food.
Despite these weaknesses, it is worth noting that the reopening of the restaurant post-lockdown was accompanied by excellent safety measures, which were appreciated by customers. This demonstrates that Eat @ Quorum Place is responsive to the changing circumstances and prioritizes the well-being of its patrons. The addition of new items, such as smoothies and iced coffees, for the summer season is seen as a positive sign of innovation and adaptability.
In conclusion, Eat @ Quorum Place has several strengths, including a diverse menu, good value pricing, and friendly staff. However, there are also weaknesses to be addressed, such as inconsistent hygiene practices, occasional rudeness from staff, and concerns regarding food presentation and taste quality. By addressing these weaknesses, the eatery has the potential to further enhance its strengths and provide a more well-rounded dining experience for its customers.

Sandwich of bacon and brie, but cold???? Yuuuk ???? maybe preference, but never had this cold and it's my favourite choice of sandwich..... disappointed
No gloves or tongs while preparing sandwiches, with bare fingers ???? thought this was standard practice??
Put me off returning ????
Lovely food and service, I'd recommend the lunch special of Spanish Chilli which is very much like a mild chilli but with added chorizo which comes with chips or rice or both.
I have breakfast here often before work, under £5 with coffee included for sitting in I think its good value. The staff are really nice, it does get busy especially on Friday mornings where I tend to avoid it but the food is cooked fresh to order, and you get things like hash browns and poached eggs which you cant get at Gregg's next door..
So the old guy behind the counter on some days can be a little grumpy, but the food on a daily is delicious
Lovely food, shame about the bloke who works there. Customer service is not his area it seems. Nothing like getting shouted at when collecting your lunch for their mistake
Very rude towards me. Made to feel like it my fault his machines don't take chip and pin cards. The guy was very snappy towards me and embrassed me in front of everyone else (during the busy lunch time rush).
Even when I receive my order it wasn't very nice and poorly presented. Especially for the over priced cost.
Only reason this place gets business is cause of its location.
Good food.
Horrible owner.
Recently been in after they reopened post lockdown. The safety measures put in place are excellent and they still have a full menu which is good to see. They have even added smoothies and iced coffees for the summer. Definitely my new lunchtime spot on the quorum.
