Quick Facts About Fillets Fish & Chips Restaurant & Take Away (Sleaford)
Fillets Fish & Chips Restaurant & Take Away in Sleaford has received a mix of positive and negative comments, providing insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. It is important to consider these comments and analyze how they reflect on the overall experience at Fillets.
One major positive aspect mentioned by multiple commenters is the quality and taste of the food. One customer described the haddock and chips as "delicious and very tasty," rivaling any seaside chippy. Another individual enjoyed their Haddock & Chips despite receiving Curry Sauce instead of Mushy Peas. These positive comments highlight the strength of Fillets' ability to deliver flavorful and enjoyable food.
The diverse menu options also receive praise, with one reviewer mentioning the availability of vegetarian options. The wide menu allows for a variety of choices, catering to different dietary preferences and making the restaurant a viable option for a range of customers.
Quick service is another strength mentioned in the comments. One customer noted the efficient and fast service, which is particularly appreciated when looking for a quick bite to eat or stopping by during a journey on the A17 or A15. This contributes to the overall convenience and positive experience of dining at Fillets.
Furthermore, the convenient location and ample parking facilities make it easily accessible and attractive for customers passing through or looking for a nearby place to eat. The availability of parking and additional facilities at the establishment were appreciated by one customer, highlighting the convenience factor.
However, Fillets also has some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One comment mentioned a consistent turnover of staff, which has led to inconsistencies in the quantity and quality of the food. This lack of consistency can be problematic for returning customers who expect a certain level of quality and value for money. It also detracts from the overall experience and may discourage customers from returning.
Additionally, there were complaints about the quality of the chips. One reviewer mentioned that the chips were hard and ruined their meal, even though the fish and sausages were okay. This indicates a potential inconsistency in the preparation of the sides and suggests that Fillets should pay more attention to maintaining the quality of all components of their meals.
Another customer expressed disappointment with the size and taste of the fish, highlighting a decline in both quality and value for money. These comments indicate the need for Fillets to ensure consistency in portion sizes and taste to meet customer expectations.
In conclusion, Fillets Fish & Chips Restaurant & Take Away in Sleaford has several strengths, including delicious and tasty food, a diverse menu, quick service, and a convenient location with ample parking. However, there are weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as inconsistencies in the quantity and quality of the food, as well as complaints about the chips and the size and taste of the fish. By addressing these weaknesses, Fillets can improve the overall dining experience and retain customers.

Well a much needed break whilst on a detour home. A surprise find with delicious and very tasty haddock and chips to rival any seaside chippy. ????????????????????
I used to like Fillets. Their Fillets special kebab for two at just over £7 was good value for money and the staff was really good. Now however, it’s £8.50 for the same kebab and there’s such a vast turnover of staff that the quantity and quality of the food varies every time you go in. The last few times I have gone in to get my usual Fillets kebab special the order has been either incorrect or the quantity for the price has been poor. I wont be going here again unfortunately.
Excellent
tonight I had Haddock & Chips with Hmmm well I ordered Mushy Peas but when I got home found I’d been given Curry Sauce.
I still enjoyed my meal though.
Great chippy just off the A17. Very wide menu including vegetarian options and quick service. The food was hot and tasty. Option to eat in or take away. Would definitely come here again.
Went here for a family birthday and spent a decent amount to feed everyone. Unfortunately the chips were hard and ruined the meal. Fish and sausages were OK but with under cooked chips it was a let it down.
Handy location to call in from the A17 or A15 for a bite to eat. Great Fish and Chips, pleanty of parking and other facilities on site. Seemed to be quite busy but didnt have to wait for long. Nice stop by and very convienent.
Great fish and chips good value for money not , busy no waiting staff friendly.????
I have had many a good fish from Fillets in the past but the last couple of occasions the fish has been small beyond belief, not value for money and not the best tasting either. Quality and value definitely slipped
