Shared dinner with the family at Gondolier and all of us had wonderful meals. Abbey our server was very attentive without being overbearing. While in the area we will definitely return.
I have enjoyed their pizzas in the past so took my husband here to dine in. I loved the variety of the menu. In my opinion better than most big name so called Italian places. Waitress did a excellent job.
I try my best not to be the person that complains when every little thing is wrong. I really do. I’ll give them this, their food is great. The staff is usually awesome. The wait isn’t very long, even when busy. However, I did an order to go. First they gave me a barbecue burger when I ordered a bacon cheese burger. I understood. I waited for another, and it was brought out to me already bagged with a knot tied. All she had to say was “here you go” and she walked away. Once I looked at it I had probably half (or less) of an order of fries. If you expect me to pay these kind of prices you can at least fill the plate.
Had to change my review of this place a little. Originally gave it five stars because I was impressed with how everything was remembered for my online delivery order. I originally stated this: “This restaurant didn’t forget any of my sauces. Personally, just about every restaurant forgets something with my delivery order. I will DEFINITELY be giving my business to this place — big thanks to the employees here who paid attention to my order requests.” Unfortunately, I was wrong to think they would keep up that level of attention across the board. Shortly after a good experience, they did actually forget some of my dipping sauce that come with the meal. On DoorDash, you have to pick a side with the gyro sandwich plate. I selected a pickle with fries and side of ranch — the ranch was left out of my order, though the tzatziki sauces were remembered. Just a friendly request to this place: please don’t forget sauces with orders placed when they’re selected and included with the meal. It can really throw off the food vibe for those of us who have to eat things a certain way. Otherwise - excellently prepared Mediterranean food. I was super impressed by the quality and will probably order again, but maybe in person next time.
My server, Destiny, was excellent and the food was amazing!! She was new to the restaurant but her attention to detail and efficiency were phenomenal! It’s also budget friendly. You’re often able to get spaghetti as a side dish with entrées at no extra added cost. Today they had an unlimited spaghetti daily special. Overall, 5/5 stars!
We ordered dinner to go and the salad was missing chicken, no big deal because mistakes happen! But the way it was handled was awful. They first wanted to give me a free salad valid for 2 weeks, I explained I do not come out that way because we live far. I heard the girl tell someone “she doesn’t want to come out here” and then someone else (brittany) picked up the phone and said she would give me 12$ in cash (refund the salad) but I had to come to pick it up. Not apology, we are so sorry that happened, nothing. I understand mistakes happen but to not even try and rectify the situation or make your customers happy when I was clearly disappointed at this point was just rude. The ladies were both rude and that 12$ in cash being the end result of their mistake and us having to share food because something was mishandled was just poor customer service. It would cost me over 12$ in gas to come get the cash... I would not recommend coming here just for the fact of their poor customer service. If you do not know how to rectify a situation or even speak with a customer respectfully or put someone on hold before you say something about the customer; you probably should not be in the restaurant business. There was not an apology until I went to hang up. I have never written a bad review until this one because it felt warranted and wanted to warn anyone before spending your money somewhere like this! Super unfortunate but there are many places in the area with great customer service and handle mistakes with the best interest of their customers and just simple kindness!
Convenient access and plenty of parking. Established restaurant that serves hearty portions of food. Can accommodate large groups (we had 10 people at our table). All food was well prepared served reasonably quick. Complimentary breadsticks with sides of house-made spaghetti sauce will hold you over until your entree is served. Haven't tried their desserts, but there is a nice display of cakes and pantries offered.
One of the Managers waited on us and we received excellent service. The salad and bread sticks were yummy. The meal was lightly seasoned and hot. We will definitely return when we are in the area.
