Quick Facts About VIP Nails
VIP Nails is a salon with both strengths and weaknesses, as evident from the comments of various customers. It is important to consider these factors when assessing the overall quality and experience at VIP Nails.
Starting with the strengths, there are a few positive aspects mentioned by customers. One customer mentions that the workmanship at VIP Nails is great, indicating that the salon provides good quality services. Another customer praises the creativity and flexibility of the staff, showing that the employees are capable of delivering unique and personalized nail designs. Additionally, the prices are said to be reasonable, suggesting that VIP Nails offers competitive pricing for their services.
However, there are also several weaknesses that have been highlighted by customers. One of the main issues mentioned is poor customer service. One customer states that they had set an appointment with a specific stylist but were ultimately placed with a different one. This confusion and lack of communication resulted in a 30-minute delay and highlights a lack of organization within the salon. Another customer complains about being overcharged and not receiving the desired service. They mention that the nail technician did not provide a satisfactory design and seemed uninterested in addressing the customer's concerns.
Furthermore, there are complaints about the attitude and behavior of the staff at VIP Nails. One customer recounts an incident where they were met with aggression and raised voices when they came back to have their nails corrected. The customer's shy and quiet daughter was subjected to harsh treatment, causing distress and discomfort. In another instance, a customer alleges that their experience at VIP Nails was accompanied by physical pain due to an incompetent technician. This suggests a lack of professionalism and a failure to prioritize customer well-being.
Hygiene is another point of concern raised by customers. One customer comments on the filthiness of the salon, expressing doubt about the sterilization of equipment. This raises questions about the overall cleanliness and safety standards maintained at VIP Nails.
Timing and punctuality are also mentioned as weaknesses. Multiple customers complain about excessive waiting times despite having made appointments. This indicates a lack of efficiency and respect for customers' time.
Lastly, there are complaints about the durability of the nails and the lack of attention to detail. Several customers mention issues such as chipped nails shortly after getting them done, further revealing a lack of quality control.
Considering the strengths and weaknesses mentioned in the comments, it is clear that VIP Nails has some areas that require improvement. Customer service, punctuality, hygiene, and attention to detail are key areas for VIP Nails to focus on in order to enhance the overall experience for their customers. By addressing these weaknesses, VIP Nails can work towards providing a better service and establishing a positive reputation in the industry.

When I first went there already established that I didn’t want shellac painting multiple times and then when I actually sat with the lady she kept pestering me until I just said yeah and wasn’t that everything was going good and she was saying for the design and be like six more I don’t know Shima each nail but I need up only getting two nails which should’ve dropped the price down lower and then after she started with the design I was telling her I didn’t like it and she said it was because in the picture the nails were shorter she said do you want me to try doing it bigger and I said yeah and then after that I was eyeing it because I just didn’t like it in my face had pure discussed on it for at least five minutes and I kept saying that and you know I just wasn’t very happy and I slowly started getting upset and then when it’s time to pay and she was like do you like it explain to her still no I don’t like it because this design doesn’t sit well with me but she didn’t say anything else you just waiting for me to pay I thought that she didn’t charge me right after she said it was gonna be a surprise she still overcharged me not going here again
Grandma got a basic manicure, daughter got her first acrylic set. Workmanship was great. Prices are reasonable. Customer service could be better. We set appointment with specific stylist. Upon arriving, they put us with different stylists. 30 min past our appointment they called wondering why we were not there. Other than that confusion in communication, it was good. Just down to business, not much conversation.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars! My daughter went in to get her nails done yesterday afternoon. My daughter is very shy and quiet so I helped her pick out the color from a color swatch. We picked this white sparkle but the nail tech made a mistake and picked the color next to it which was a dark sparkle silver. I also told them to do regular acrylic and she ended up doing shellac and charging me for it. I didn’t have time to go back in and have them correct it so I called today and the tech on the phone told me to come in and they would gladly correct it. Well when we got there it was a whole different tone! The woman started raising her voice telling us we should have come back in right away when we noticed it was the wrong color. Not a single apology for making us have to come all the way back. She also started balling my daughter out in front of a bunch of people and other techs telling her she should have said something right away when she noticed it wasn’t the right color, not only once did she tell her this once but continued to aggressively and loudly tell her over and over, and slopping nail polish all over the place in the process! It’s all over my daughters fingers!!!! My quiet, autistic daughter was holding back tears the whole time. THEN this b*%*& proceeds to get aggressive and nicks her pinky with the electric nail buffer( second photo) it was bleeding and all the tech did was wipe away the blood with no apology or words for what she had done, just continued on with her aggressive angry self! She told my daughter next time she comes in and doesn’t like something to make sure to speak up….well quess what?!?!! There won’t be a next time because you couldn’t pay me enough to step foot in that place!!!! Oh and it’s filthy in there too!!! I would be really surprised if they sterilize any of their equipment!
Great quality work, but even when I called ahead of time to confirm availability, I waited over 20 minutes for a technician to work with me.
I’m very pleased, I got my nails done for the second time here - and appreciate the creativity and flexibility of the staff to help you get the right look.
First time visitor who never plans to return. The physical pain their tech put me through trumps every nice thing I could say about VIP Nails. The photo shown is three days after my visit. Yes, I'm still having to bandage my finger (what?!?!). Yes, I'm still in a considerable amount of discomfort. I should have just walked out, but I didn't fully realize the extent of the damage until the manicure was nearly done. Yikes!
UPDATE 2/25. Wound is still very sore and looks even worse than the original picture because it has scabbed over, but it is healing. MANY!!!! people have asked me who did this to my hand. Still in disbelief.
After four days my nails are already chipping and they are DIP!!! And my appointment was at 12:30 and they didn’t start until 1:30
Vip nails are AWFUL!!!!
I had a fill with design and a pedicure. The woman that worked on me used her nails to massage my calf - I told her to massage me differently and she did not.
Then she left one of my toes crooked and the gel smeared.
Then when the same woman did my nails she cut my length all the way down -
With out asking
And then smeared my design!!
I came back to complain because my fingers looked fat and ugly because of the length. The male owner said he would fix it. I needed a whole new set.
Upon returning to the salon to be “fixed” the older woman said “No - they would fix the toe and give me the money for the fill and I would have to go somewhere else!
After I had paid 112$ and left a tip.
I was so upset! Then the older woman tried to shame me and said my feet were bad.
Of course that is why I came to a nail salon to get a pedicure?!?!
I walked out with feeling embarrassed shamed and taken advantage of with a crooked toe and ugly short nails and $30!!!!
I went to Asian nails in tears!!! The owner gave me a discount and my nails are very high end looking and on point!!!
I got my nails done here 7 years ago for my wedding and everything was great so when I was back in town this week visiting in-laws I came again. They managed to fit me in unlike one of the places down the road which had an hour wait, but once I sat in the chair and picked the basic pedicure it seemed like they thought I was stiffing them by not picking a more elaborate option from the list. The only reason I pay to get pedicures is the callus removal because I got barefoot a lot, but for that to be most effective, it helps my feet to soak in hot water which I thought was universal across all pedicures. I asked her if the water could be warmed up because it was pretty cold and she said no because I picked the basic pedi (for $33, I don’t know how that doesn’t still include hot water.) The rest of the service was fine, but then when I went to pay I always leave a tip on the receipt and apparently that isn’t an option anymore. I never carry cash, and their only other option was Venmo/cash app which I don’t have so it was all just very weird and made me look like I was stiffing them for a tip but I had absolutely no idea they didn’t have the option to add one the normal way anymore. It seems like a lot has changed in the 7 years since I last came here
