Quick Facts About Duke Nail & Spa
Duke Nail & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will examine the comments more closely.
One of the strengths mentioned by multiple customers is the cleanliness of the salon. They appreciate the fact that the salon is well-maintained and feels sanitized. This is a positive attribute as cleanliness is an important factor for customers when choosing a nail salon.
Another strength highlighted by customers is the customer service provided by the staff. They mention that the staff is friendly and accommodating. One customer even mentioned that they were impressed by the fact that Carol, an employee, remembered them from a previous visit. Good customer service is crucial for retaining customers and building a positive reputation.
Several customers also mentioned that they were satisfied with the quality of the services provided by Duke Nail & Spa. They praised the manicures, pedicures, and waxing services, stating that the employees did a professional and lovely job. Consistency in service is another strength mentioned by a customer, implying that the salon maintains a high level of quality in their services.
The complimentary massage offered by the salon was also appreciated by customers. They mentioned that the massages were of high quality and that they enjoyed the option to add on a 10-minute massage for a small fee. This is a good way to enhance the customer experience and provide additional value for the money spent.
Despite these strengths, there are some weaknesses mentioned by customers that need to be addressed. One recurring complaint is the issue of appointments not being honored on time. Multiple customers mentioned waiting for a significant amount of time, despite having made appointments. This indicates a lack of proper scheduling and time management on the part of the salon. It is important for Duke Nail & Spa to address this issue in order to improve customer satisfaction.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of attention to detail in certain services. One customer mentioned that their gel dip manicure was not done properly, resulting in peeling and breakage of the nails. This indicates a lack of skill or attention by the nail technician. Consistency in service quality needs to be maintained across all employees to avoid such issues.
In conclusion, Duke Nail & Spa has several strengths, including cleanliness, good customer service, and quality services. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as the issue of late appointments and lack of attention to detail. By focusing on these weaknesses and making improvements, Duke Nail & Spa can enhance the overall customer experience and strengthen their reputation.

Love Duke Nail and Spa! There were four of us and they accommodated us amazingly, we had one person just for a tips removal, then two dip powder tips and one regular gel manicure (we took pictures). It’s so clean in there, everyone is SO nice. We are used to city nail salons so were slightly worried about what we’d find in upstate New York but we are so happy!! This is my second time coming and both times have been just wonderful. Carol even remembered me from the first time I came. Amazing customer service, beautiful salon, mwah. We will be coming back!!
Horrible. Girl took over an hour to do gel dip. Didn’t use the electric file. Filed them with nail file. Did a design and used gel over it that didn’t cure. They peeled the next day. One broke 2 days later. Here we are a week in and I now have another broke and another peeled. Won’t return. Horrible experience. They also look like I got them done 4 weeks ago.
I have now been to this nail salon multiple times, each with an appointment. Each time I am waiting at least 30 + minutes as they overbook themselves without having substantial staff to uphold the appointments. I made an appointment for today for 3 pm for 3 pedicures and just like every other time, I am told to soak my feet as I wait for the techs to finish with someone else. At 3:20 the first tech arrived and almost finished one of the pedicures while the other 2 were still waiting. We let the staff know and they continued to tell us only 5 more minutes of waiting. Safe to say, it was not 5 minutes. If you make an appointment here, don’t hold your breath, they will not get you in on time or within the hour. Save your time and money- head to another salon instead.
I have always had a hard time finding a nail salon that provides consistency in service. Duke Nails was recommended to me by some friends and I won't go anywhere else locally. The salon is super clean & feels very sanitized. The prices are a bit higher than other places but you pay for what you get. Most recently, my nail tech spent literally 10+ minutes helping me find the perfect color for an engagement shoot. She was so patient, helped me go through all "pages" of colors & proceeded to paint five different colors on my nails to help me commit. She never made me feel bad or rushed and that's definitely happened elsewhere. They also give you a complimentary massage with an option to add a 10 minute one on for a small fee. The massages are SO good!! Finally, my nail tech was so precise doing my nails. Drives me crazy when they don't get the sides with polish and she was so careful and took her time. Totally recommend Duke Nail & Spa. They are so nice!!
I’ve been going here for years. Salon is clean and neat. I have had manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Employees always do a lovely professional job. Highly Recommend.
I have been getting my nails done here for years! Love this Easter design by Llamo!
Been coming to here for years. It's always a relaxing and wonderful experience. I highly recommend them, especially William and Sue.
Since I moved over a year ago I have been on a search for a nail tech who can follow the foot steps my prior tech left behind..
I came in today for a pedicure and to have my nails redone. I sat in the chair waiting for a pedi for 45-60m due to how busy it was... (it would have been nice to have the water and tablet going while i waited) after the lady started the pedi she made comments back n forth with hand gestures of stinky, not sure if that was towards myself or the lady beside me.. but just rude either way.
After this I was escorted to a manicure table and sat for 15m before a gentleman asked if I wanted a massage (it was amazing! Highly recommended) once i declined for a full treatment (10 minute paid) he walked away and once again I'm alone.
So 30m after I was seated they decided to soak the acrylic off from prior botched job.. this process took forever. (They were busy so its understandable) after cutting the nails down and drilling off the top coat. My nails where left thin.. causing me to have to do a dip nail instead of gel nails and eliminating the design i wanted.
Sadly I understand the situation.. and Even though i came in at 215pm and left at 545pm..
I will return for future nails (I guess patterns and designs are just not a NY thing) and definitely future massages...
The employees (overall) were nice and accommodating!
