Did not know about this place till a couple of weeks ago .what a charming restaurant.

I heard good opinions so I decided to check. No nice welcome. My husband's birthday and we felt like intruders. We got a table in a draft because the door of the restaurant was open. A table covered with paper, with a map. Even funny. We ordered some dish and drinks. My husband wanted to try the famous Greek vodka. It's anise. After a long wait, the ordered dishes were served. Hmmm, my husband had at least warm. We weren't done and the waitresses wanted to take them.

From the minute the four of us entered the taverna we were made to feel welcome. The ambience was just right with that touch of a traditional Greek restaurant.

Each member of staff was friendly, informative and professional and made us feel comfortable. The service time was just about right - not rushed nor having to wait. Our choices of food (two starters and four different mains) did not disappoint either. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The service is great , its a nice vibe - but no halal options , there’s like three vegetarian options judging that specifically it was not to my liking it was bland, and not cooked nice ! disappointing unfortunately , however others may like it ! I recommend you come here to try as I couldn’t have the other bits :)

Last minute booking on a Monday evening. Restaurant was reasonably busy... A good sign.

Lots of choice, food was excellent, reasonably priced and very tasty!
