Quick Facts About Hungry Horaces

Hungry Horaces place receives mixed reviews in terms of its strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, we will evaluate the comments and categorize them into strengths and weaknesses. It is important to note that these comments are subjective and represent the experiences of individual customers.
Strengths:
1. Fair Pricing: Multiple customers mentioned that Hungry Horaces offers a decent-sized breakfast for a fair price ranging from £6-7. This demonstrates good value for money and can attract customers looking for a hearty meal at an affordable cost.
2. Good Selection: Several comments highlighted the variety of options available on the menu, particularly praising the English breakfast and the availability of a vegetarian option. This shows that Hungry Horaces can cater to different dietary requirements and preferences, which is a strength in attracting a wider customer base.
3. Friendly Staff: Numerous customers mentioned that the staff at Hungry Horaces were friendly, providing good service and making them feel welcome. This can enhance the overall dining experience and generate positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
4. Free Tea and Coffee Refills: One customer mentioned that Hungry Horaces offers free refills of tea and coffee, which can be seen as an added bonus and contribute to customer satisfaction.
Weaknesses:
1. Inflexibility in Customization: One customer mentioned that their request to swap chips for hash browns wasn't accommodated, indicating a lack of flexibility in fulfilling customer preferences. Similarly, another customer's request to exclude black pudding was ignored, but they were offered extra sausage instead. This highlights a weakness in meeting customer needs and preferences.
2. Overcooked Bacon: One customer stated that their bacon was overcooked and inedible. This suggests inconsistency in food quality and raises concerns about the kitchen's cooking techniques, which can be a major drawback for customers seeking a high-quality meal.
3. Inconsistent Food Quality: The comment expressing disappointment that Hungry Horaces is not as good as it used to be indicates a decline in food quality over time. Another customer mentioned that the black pudding they received was raw, further highlighting inconsistencies in food preparation.
4. Bad Customer Service: Several customers reported negative experiences with the staff. One customer mentioned rude behavior, while another described confrontational behavior towards non-paying colleagues. These incidents of poor customer service can result in a negative overall dining experience and discourage customers from returning.
5. Parking Difficulties: One customer mentioned that parking can be a nightmare, indicating a potential accessibility issue for customers. Difficulties in finding parking spaces can deter potential customers from visiting, especially during peak hours.
Based on the comments provided, it is clear that Hungry Horaces place has both strengths and weaknesses. Their fair pricing, good selection, friendly staff, and free tea/coffee refills contribute to a positive dining experience. However, issues such as inflexibility in customization, inconsistent food quality, poor customer service, and parking difficulties are weaknesses that need attention in order to improve the overall dining experience and attract more customers.

Tried swapping chips for has browns, but they wouldn't change it, they wanted extra. So left it. I asked for no black pudding, then they offered me extra sausage I didn't want. Still wouldn't give me the hash browns though!
Bacon was over cooked and unedible.
Bad customer service and poor food. I'll stick to my regular place from now on, top nosh is much better!
Not as good as was years ago . Pretty average nowadays plus black pudding was not even cooked ...dont know why but it was raw still . Its clean and tidy but I've had better elsewhere
Good old fashioned greasey spoon café. Friendly staff with good service. Fair price for what you get, decent size breakfast for about £6 - 7, not too greasey either. Typical English breakfasts with vege option available.
Staff were rude. My work colleagues and I popped in during our lunch break. 3 of us were paying customers, the other 2 did not want to eat/ drink but sat with us. There was plenty of space if additional customers wanted to come in as it was almost empty. One of the members of staff was confrontational to my colleagues who didn’t eat / drink but sat with us saying they shouldn’t be in as they weren’t paying customers - when 3 of us were. The member of staff accused one of my colleagues of eating her own stuff which she wasn’t - and looked through her bag! As we left, I said thank you but the member of staff starting shouting at my colleagues and I again. We will not be returning.
