Quick Facts About Ivan Dominican Barbershop
Ivan Dominican Barbershop has a number of strengths based on the comments provided. The barbershop, particularly Abraham, is highly skilled in skin fades and is both fast and accurate with their cuts. This demonstrates a high level of proficiency and expertise, making it a desirable place for individuals seeking skin fades. Additionally, the barbers are described as professional, providing excellent service and ensuring that the edges are cleaned up well. This attention to detail and commitment to providing a quality haircut adds to the appeal of the barbershop.
Another strength mentioned is the ability of the barbers to understand and deliver the desired haircut even if there is a language barrier. If a customer doesn't speak Spanish, they can simply show the barber a picture and receive a satisfactory haircut. This showcases the adaptability and skill of the barbers in understanding and fulfilling customer requests.
The ability to make appointments, as mentioned by one customer, is another strength of Ivan Dominican Barbershop. This allows for better organization and helps customers avoid long waits. The reasonable prices of the services offered at the barbershop are also mentioned as a positive aspect, making it an affordable option for customers.
On the other hand, there are weaknesses highlighted in the comments as well. One customer had a terrible experience with their haircut, describing it as sloppy, messy, and not well done. They also felt that their haircut was rushed and expressed disappointment that the barbers did not seem to respect the order of the line/waitlist. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer satisfaction.
Another negative comment focused on a specific barber named Enrique who was described as the worst barber at the shop. The customer had issues with both the technique used and the result of their haircut. They felt the barber did not know how to properly handle clippers, resulting in an uncomfortable experience and a less-than-desirable outcome. This highlights a lack of skill and professionalism on the part of this particular barber.
There is also a comment indicating a need for improved communication and attentiveness to customer preferences. The customer felt that their instructions were not followed, resulting in a haircut that did not meet their expectations. This lack of understanding and attention to customer requests can lead to dissatisfaction and a negative experience.
In summary, Ivan Dominican Barbershop has strengths in terms of their skill and proficiency in skin fades, professionalism, attention to detail, and reasonable prices. However, there are weaknesses highlighted in the comments including inconsistent service quality, language barrier issues, rushed haircuts, and a lack of attention to customer preferences. It is important for the barbershop to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation.

I got my haircut by Abraham, and he does a great job with skin fades. Every time I get my haircut, he is very fast and accurate with the cut.
.
He He might not speak a lot of English, but he can cut your hair very well. If you don't speak Spanish, just show him a picture and he'll "bless you up" with the clippers.
.
Can't say much about the other barbers at the shop, but he is great. Would highly recommend him!
Very professional here. Excellent. They don't do a halfway kind of job. They get the edges really cleaned up too! These guys n girls really know their business.
Awesome service, barber knew exactly what I wanted and got to work. This is the ONLY place I'll ever get my haircut at ever again.
Loved the experience and can't recommend them enough
Highly recommend Hector who is the first barber on the left when you enter. Been going for around two and a half years and have always gotten a great cut. I would recommend asking for a number to make appointments since they are getting busier and busier. Reasonable prices too. Would recommend 10/10
HORRIBLE HAIRCUT!! TERRIBLE LINES!!
The haircut my boyfriend received from them today looks so bad! It's not well done, it's sloppy and messy! And now we're going to have to spend more money somewhere else to get it fixed!! Also, they didn't seem to respect the order of the line/wait list. Can't help but think they rushed through the haircut because they had a line of waiting customers which is totally unfair to the person in the chair who is expecting a decent haircut for $17! They still received a tip from us, and in my eyes it wasn't earned! The waiting line can be ridiculously long as you can see in above pictures! If you know your business is going to have a lot more clients on specific days you should plan for that and bring in more barbers during the weekend to help with those OUTRAGEOUS lines! Overall experience was just terrible and not worth the money or the time spent waiting! NEVER GOING BACK!!
Enrique? Whatever your name is. The worst barber there hands down. I went in to get a mid skin fade and to trim off some of my hair on the top. My first problem is he does not know how to handle clipper and he drives the clipper with no guard into your skin as if he was scratching and peeling your skin off, he thinks if you press harder with the clipper more hair is going to come off. He definitely rushed his cut because I was out of there in 40 minutes, to me, A fade should take a minimum of one hour. My second problem is that I showed him multiple images of how I wanted my cut, but that doesn’t matter because he’s trying to get as many cuts at the end of the day. My hairline is crooked and he cut my hair completely wrong. I’m debating whether or not to buzz it because it will actually look better because my current cut, he actually attempted to make it look nice, which is sad. I have not had bad experiences with the other barbers at the shop, just him and particularly.
I never have a problem getting my hair cut awesome job and they friendly and respect ppl
Barber I got asked my if I wanted a line and I said just do the sides only and attempt to do my hairline which I didn't even want. Homie seemed like he was trying to rush my cut instead of keeping a steady paced. I said I wanted my hair combed up and trimmed a little and after he trimmed he started to comb my hair sideways like I am a homie named carl. lol but at least I fixed it. They need to start listening and making sure what their patients want.
