Quick Facts About Jac’s kitchen
Jac's Kitchen Place has several strengths that make it a popular option among customers. Firstly, the food quality and service are highly praised by customers. Colette, Emma, and the rest of the staff are described as super friendly, and the food is always prepared fresh and of first-class quality. Additionally, the portions at Jac's are noted to be generous, making it a fantastic option for those with a big appetite.
Another strength of Jac's Kitchen Place is its convenient location and amenities. The restaurant is situated at the entrance to Cambusnethan Woods, making it an ideal spot for dog walkers, picnickers, and visitors to Cambusnethan Priory. The large car park is a significant advantage as it ensures that customers can easily find parking when visiting the restaurant. This is particularly convenient, considering the potential crowds during busy times.
The fact that Jac's Kitchen Place opens early in the morning until the afternoon is another advantage. This allows customers to grab a meal or snack from the restaurant throughout the day, whether it's for breakfast or lunch. The extended hours provide flexibility and convenience for customers who may have different eating schedules or preferences.
While there are several strengths to Jac's Kitchen Place, there are also a few weaknesses that some customers have highlighted. One concern raised is the potential wait times during busy periods. As the food is prepared fresh and cooked to order, there can be delays during peak times when the restaurant is busy. This can be frustrating for customers who are looking for a quick meal or snack.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of vegetarian options. While many establishments now offer vegetarian alternatives, Jac's Kitchen Place does not have veggie sausages or burgers as part of their menu. This could be a drawback for vegetarian customers who are looking for more diverse options when dining out.
One customer also expressed disappointment in the taste of the egg rolls and the quality of the rolls themselves. They described the rolls as flat and tasteless, and questioned why they were served cold when the food is cooked to order. This negative experience highlights a potential inconsistency in the quality of food at times.
Lastly, the steep walk back up from the premises could be seen as a weakness for some customers, particularly those with mobility issues or who may struggle with a steep incline. This may be a deterrent for certain individuals who are looking for a more easily accessible dining option.
To summarize, Jac's Kitchen Place has several strengths that make it a popular choice for many customers. These include the high-quality food, friendly service, generous portions, and convenient location. However, there are also a few weaknesses, such as potential wait times during busy periods, the lack of vegetarian options, inconsistent food quality, and the steep walk back up from the restaurant. Despite these weaknesses, Jac's Kitchen Place has received overall positive reviews and is recommended for its excellent takeaway food.

This is a permanet food takeaway, with a large car park. Lovely food but can be a wait at busy times. Opens early morning til afternoon. Situated at entrance to Cambusnethan Woods, ideal for dog walking, picnics and visit to Cambusnethan Priory. It is a steep walk back up.
I can't rate Jacs highly enough. It really is unbeatable for food quality and service. Colette, Emma and all the girls are super friendly, the food is always prepared fresh and it's always first class. The portions are probably the biggest around too! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
In this day and age, everywhere offers a Veggie option but no veggie sausage or veggie burgers here. Egg rolls tasteless and the actual rolls were flat and tasteless also. Waiting time very long as they “cook to order”. Why then, were the rolls cold. I threw them to the gulls.
Food has to one of the best around. Always go for my breakfasts or lunch. Friendly staff and great food. What more could you ask for 10/10
