Quick Facts About Naga Indian Restaurant
Naga Indian Restaurant has received a range of reviews, both positive and negative. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant, we will first address the negative comments made by customers.
One common complaint in the comments is the quality of the food. Several customers mention that the food was tasteless and lacking in flavor. One customer specifically mentions that the vegetarian samosa lacked spice and the vegetable paneer lacked depth of flavor. Another customer notes that the prawn madrass tasted like a spicy bisto gravy. These comments suggest that the restaurant may have weaknesses in the preparation and seasoning of their dishes, which is a significant weakness for an Indian restaurant.
Another common complaint is the poor customer service. Customers mention that their concerns and complaints were not adequately addressed by the staff. One customer mentioned that when they expressed their disappointment to the staff, the staff did not seem interested. This lack of customer service can greatly impact the dining experience and is a significant weakness for the restaurant.
Additional weaknesses mentioned in the comments include the cold temperature in the restaurant, limited drink options at the bar, unclean restrooms, and a poorly lit car park. These factors can contribute to an overall negative experience for customers and reflect poorly on the restaurant.
In contrast to the negative comments, there are a few positive comments as well. One customer mentioned that the food was authentic and delicious. Another customer praised the cleanliness of the restaurant and the fast and efficient service. These comments suggest that there may be strengths in the quality of the food and the service provided by the staff.
However, considering the overall negative feedback, it appears that Naga Indian Restaurant has several weaknesses that need to be addressed. The main weaknesses include the lack of flavor in the dishes, poor customer service, inadequate temperature control, limited drink options, unclean restrooms, and a poorly lit car park.
In conclusion, while there may be some strengths in the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant, the weaknesses demonstrated by the negative comments overshadow these strengths. Naga Indian Restaurant should prioritize addressing these weaknesses in order to improve the overall dining experience for their customers.

Where do I begin? Absolutely terrible in every way. It doesn't deserve 1 star. I'll start with the food, the vegetarian samosa was like a small Cornish pasty made with puff pastry instead of filo, filled with diced carrots, peas and the odd sweet corn, tasteless not hint of spice. Then the mains, the vegetable paneer was like a vegetable casserole with 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder. Full of carrots again, broccoli and the odd other vegetable in a bland sauce. The prawn madrass was described, by my partner, as a spicy bisto gravy. Both meals lacked any depth of flavour, herbs or spices which an authentic Indian meal are noted for. The pilar egg rice had burnt bits in it, egg I think, and the garlic butter nan dry and plain, not a hint of butter or garlic or herbs of any sort. The Taka Dahl was also bland and tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed eating was the After Eight mint served with the bill.
To add to all this the place was freezing and I sat in my coat all evening and when I mentioned this to the waiter, he said that it was warmer elsewhere in the restaurant, but didn't offer to move us, despite it being 70% empty.
The bar was also limited, only serving Zinfendel by the bottle so when I asked for lime and soda was given lime and lemonade. (I'd couldn't be bothered changing it)!
We told the waiter about the food but was told that other people enjoyed it!! If they did, all I can say is that i doubt they have eaten an authentic Indian meal.
Nobody checked how the food was after being served.
My partner went to the gents and told me that there was no hand dryer or paper towels to dry his hands, so by this time I decided to hold on until I got home.
I also worry for people's safety as well as their car's in the car park which is virtually pitch black, with almost all the lights not working.
Finally, I visited this restaurant 5 years ago and experienced the same poor food and service, I had expected it to have improved, but alas no, it was just as bad.
I can honestly say that I will NEVER vist this restaurant again.
First and last time I'll be going to Naga. Way over priced for poor quality, tasteless food. Never in my 30 years of eating at various Indian restaurants have I been so disappointed. Customer service was a big '0' . Don't know if they've changed chef because I cannot understand how people have given them good reviews. The decor seemed nice until going into the toilets, door hanging off one cubicle and 1 other wouldn't lock. Stains on the toilets too. I don't like to complain but I feel I must share my experience. I did let one of the staff know how disappointed I was, but they didn't seem that interested.
On entering was a little quiet. Was seated and made our choice. And wow. From start to finish the food was amazing. The place is extremely clean and service exceptional. My partner has now said this is his new favourite. Please go give it s try you will be impressed.
Large car park at rear for your arrival. A friendly welcome and speedy service with great food. Good atmosphere on Friday evening. We all commented on how clean the restaurant was !! the tables, glasses, cutlery, toilets.... Fantastic professional staff. Thanks. 5*
The food was authentic and delicious.
Service was brilliant, both waitress and waiter ;Rocky was attentive and the service was fast and efficient.
Hats off to the Chef ????
For the Muslim customers its worth knowing all meats and chicken are from Halal meat store in Bolton.
Tonight was a little disappointing. The service was not very quick despite the restaurant not being too busy. I had onion bhaji to start and the balti exotica for the main. The meat was tough and a little fatty and not only in my dish. Some items were forgotten when serving the mains also. It was a shame because we have had good meals here previously and had taken friends to introduce them to the restaurant and they were similarly underwhelmed.
Food of good quality, quantity and taste. Ambience mediocre, waitress OK. Waiter not so, tried to place hotplates with flourish, but regrettably! Chose two ice-cream with flakes anchored in middle, a most fitting description. Finally our Cola drinks at £1.90 each honestly were barely the contents of a single tin primed with ice, leaving little in the way of taste.
Potential, spoiled seemingly with petty greed.
No longer a Indian turning the building into apartments ????
