Quick Facts About Jenny's Nails Spa

Jenny's Nails Spa has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will address each comment and analyze the implications for the overall customer experience.
Starting with the negative comments, it is evident that the overall customer service at Jenny's Nails Spa is lacking. Several customers have complained about the staff being rude and having poor attitudes. This can be seen in comments such as "Let’s start by a simple 'Hi or Hello' when clients come in before screaming 'Pick a color' at you" and "the older woman doing my nail service greeted no one that walked in and she went from zero to 100 with an attitude."
These complaints about the staff's demeanor and lack of professionalism can greatly impact the overall customer experience. Customers have expressed feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable in the salon, which can significantly affect their enjoyment and relaxation during their nail service. This is a major weakness for Jenny's Nails Spa as it can drive away potential customers and result in negative word-of-mouth.
Another recurring issue mentioned by customers is the quality of the nail services provided. Some have experienced problems such as gel nail polish peeling off after only a couple of days or nails becoming infected with fungus. These incidents indicate a lack of attention to detail and proper sanitation practices, which are crucial in a nail salon. These issues reflect poorly on the salon's reputation and can lead to a loss of trust from customers.
In addition to the service itself, customers have also criticized the salon's cleanliness. One customer commented, "the salon is very dirty." This observation is concerning as a clean and hygienic environment is essential in a nail salon. Customers expect a level of cleanliness and professionalism from the establishment they visit. The lack of cleanliness can create a negative perception of the salon and deter potential customers.
Moving on to the positive comments, there are customers who have had satisfactory experiences at Jenny's Nails Spa. One customer mentioned that they have been going to the salon since 2015 and have never been disappointed. They praised the staff's ability to fulfill their requests and provide good quality service. This demonstrates a strength of the salon in terms of skill and consistency in delivering nail services.
Price is another aspect of Jenny's Nails Spa that has been positively mentioned by customers. One customer commented, "Great quality, good prices." Affordable prices can be a significant advantage for a nail salon as it attracts customers who are conscious of their budget. This can help the salon build a loyal customer base and differentiate itself from competitors.
However, it is important to note that these positive comments are outweighed by the negative feedback. The issues raised, such as poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, and quality problems, pose significant weaknesses for Jenny's Nails Spa. These weaknesses can severely impact the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction, leading to a decline in business.
In conclusion, Jenny's Nails Spa has strengths in terms of affordability and the ability to fulfill customer requests. However, the salon is greatly hindered by weaknesses in customer service, cleanliness, and quality. These weaknesses can have detrimental effects on the overall customer experience and the salon's reputation. In order to improve and succeed, Jenny's Nails Spa needs to address these weaknesses and focus on providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a high standard of quality in their nail services.

Best TL Reviews

I never write reviews but I felt so compelled to finally do so. Let’s start by saying these type of nail salons need to do better with a few things. Let’s start by a simple “Hi or Hello” when clients come in before screaming “Pick a color” at you. Next let’s stop instantly getting an attitude or start talking about your clients in another language when all Im trying to do is calm and effectively discuss what I’m looking/paying for. I always start with “let me know if you feel comfortable with this if not I can find another design.” I’m tired of continuously paying my hard earned money and tipping techs who have this attitude/ demeanor. I’ve been coming to Jenny’s since being in high school. Always hear how bad their service and attitudes are but always kind of defended them until it was actually happening to me. They do alot of small things that make you feel uncomfortable then the moment you speak up its a problem or you’re looking how they expect us to act. It truly frustrated me to leave their salon in a such a mood when I just wanted to relax, get my nails how I wanted for the money I’m paying. Instead left with only the white nail tips on and never even got them done. Then as the owner to laugh with your employees and continue to make me feel uncomfortable is ridiculous. It’s sad and immature. It only confirmed what I felt the moment the replacement tech came to start my nails because he came over with that energy a child has when a parent has sat around and talked about someone. Yet I still started off fresh with him saying “Hi Sam how are you” all I asked was could he re-apply the nails straight because about 4 were obviously crooked then they’ll say “it’s your fingers” oh ok so I’ve never noticed I had crooked fingers for over 30 years. If anything as a business find ways on how to improve your service or listen to the clients needs or wants to avoid these situations. It’s very simple. Your business won’t flourish with that attitude. Stop instantly labeling us all, writing us off as just another black girl with a attitude because every time you take a chance at losing a good paying, consistent, easy going client. Stay blessed though.
Just when I thought I found A new nail salon close to my new home they disappointed me. They have no customer service at all …very typical for them to open business in our communities to make money regardless of their customer service. I came to this salon 3 or 4x they’re open later than usual and that perfect for the working class. However my last time there is my last time. Reasons below
1. Their wall of colors to choose from you give them the number they pull out the color. This day I gave her 3 different options and she pulled out totally different colors(make it make sense) they when I just Asked for a grey she found one but it wasn’t showing on their wall. This should have been a sign lol
2. Less than 2 days later the gel nail polish starts pulling off I go Back they fix it and do the same color on my toes everything is good. So I thought I go On vacation & boom 1 day later my gel nails and toes polish starts pulling so here I am Enjoying my vacation only to have nail polish pulling off like never before. When I arrive Back home from my trip I stop In to tell them something is wrong with Theo oldish because I’ve been getting gel nail for the last # years and this has never happened in fact the last time the same person did my nails and toes and it last almost a month with not one nail getting messed up. She offered to fix then however I advised I have To pick my son from child care I’ll come later this week for a complete polish change. Again 2 days later I get Everything changed requested for discount since I’ve been in here 3x in 9 days and she says no ok no problem I pay But I’m telling u there was no apology no nothing. To many nail salons to deal with this type of customer service
Excuse my grammar !
I’m new to this part of town. I had been looking for a new nail place and this one was nearby. I read previous reviews that weren’t so great but wanted to try for myself.
Today was most likely the last time I’ll visit due to the fact that I’ve seen and experienced their lack of appreciation for customers and their rudeness in response.
Im very cool, calm and collected and the older woman doing my nail service greeted no one that walked in and she went from zero to 100 with an attitude as I politely tried to show her how I wanted my nails, but she got frustrated with herself Because she couldn’t do it.
There are too many other options to stay patronizing this establishment and I don’t want to tear it all the way down by this review in sharing all that I saw. This was my experience after visiting several times but not anymore.
Giving due respect to lily LE who did my nails the best.
I would encourage this establishment to check your own attitudes and show more appreciation and respect for the people who keep you in business.
I have been going to this salon since 2015. Staff is great and no matter who does my nails I Am personally never disappointed. They can do whatever you want cause I always pick pictures from the internet and they do it. Great quality, good prices, sometimes busier then others but well worth it.
I got a fungus on my nail from this place. Never ever again. The set began to lift after two days. I had to have the entire set removed and start wearing my natural nails until the nail with the fungus grows out.
Went in for a color change and after I finished the dryer, I noticed the polish looked very lumpy on my big toes. I asked her to put another coat on to make it look smooth and this is what I got. Also, the salon is very dirty. This was my first and last time going to this salon. ( Don’t mind the swelling, I’m 39 weeks pregnant)
I took my girls there last weekend and they did a rushed job. Mind you it was Thier first and last time there. Paint chipped the next day. They asked for something specific and they didn't do what was asked. Very disappointing.
To start, I got a gel refill and it was very rushed and sloppy. There's paint around my nails and air bubbles in the actual polish. Not to mention, some of my nails have this grayish swipe of color which looks gross. They didn't have the color I wanted (or the backup to that color) so when I mentioned that the blue was too much, Jenny said "That's because you picked a dark blue" when she didn't have half the colors I wanted. Just very unprofessional and the place was not clean. They insist on masks, which is fine, but that's about the only sanitary practice happening there. Overall, I'm just really disappointed and will not be returning.
