Quick Facts About Gala Nails & Spa

Gala Nails & Spa has a range of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In terms of strengths, customers have noted that the salon is clean and inviting upon arrival. Furthermore, some customers have had positive experiences with nail technicians who were able to deliver the desired nail styles and complete services efficiently. Additionally, the relaxing atmosphere and massage chairs have been positively received by customers, contributing to a pleasant experience.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been pointed out by customers. One recurring issue is the lack of friendly and welcoming customer service. Multiple customers have reported feeling unwelcome and ignored by the staff, particularly when their requested nail technician was not available. This lack of friendliness has left a negative impression on customers and may deter them from returning.
Another significant weakness highlighted by customers is the inconsistency of service quality. While some customers were satisfied with their nail services, others reported significant mistakes and shortcomings. These include crooked filing, missed spots in the polish, and the lack of a top coat. This inconsistency in service quality may indicate a lack of attention to detail and quality control within the salon.
Customers have also criticized the timing and efficiency of the services provided. Some customers felt rushed, especially during the hot wax bath treatment, which was short and seemed like a waste of time and money. Furthermore, reports of nail technicians leaving customers unattended while they were on their phones highlight a lack of professionalism and dedication to providing a satisfactory customer experience.
There are also pricing concerns raised by customers. While some customers found the prices to be adequate, others felt that they were charged excessively for the services provided. In particular, one customer noted that their manicures and pedicures for three people cost $330, which they deemed to be outrageous. This suggests that the pricing structure may not align with the value and quality of the services being offered.
Overall, Gala Nails & Spa has strengths in terms of its initial cleanliness and some positive customer experiences with specific nail technicians. However, the salon falls short in terms of consistent customer service, attention to detail, and pricing transparency. Improvements in these areas could enhance the overall customer experience and attract more loyal customers.

I went in to get my eyebrows done and asked for the Only employee who has given me a warm and inviting welcome. They said she was not available and to come back in an hour. One hour later, I wasted my time and gas and drove back. I was rudely told "She's busy", it felt like I was being shooed away. This is not the first time I've received unfriendliness here. If you do not care for customer service, then the price is adequate. However, if you are one who cares about the service or lack of then find another place.
When you first walk in, it's clean and you are greeted!! I was able to walk in and sit down right away for a new full set. I'm not sure my technicians name, but she was in station two, on Thursday Aug 1, 2019 at 4 pm. She was so sweet, and honestly did my nails better than anyone. I've been getting them done for 15 yrs off and on and it was my first time getting a set with her. I was in and out in under 60 MINUTES! I showed her an example on Instagram of what I wanted and she delivered. Just, wow.
Relaxing atmosphere, plenty of space to move about, good massage chairs and a nice, clean environment. I got a deluxe pedicure with the jelly treatment.
Enjoyed my time in the massage chair and was not rushed, and had plenty of time to allow my polish to dry. The downside was that I had all that time because my nail tech basically walked off (twice) and left me sitting there for a really long time while she lingered on her phone. Once during the jelly treatment (which was only lukewarm, and got cold by the time she came back) and after the polish was on.
The hot wax bath treatment was super short. She basically dunked my feet, put the plastic wrappers on (which felt rushed and awkward) then took it off within just a few minutes. Seemed like a waste of time (and money!)
Once my polish was dry after sitting there for at least 20 minutes making use of the massage chair, I motioned to her that I was ready to go. Strangely, I was charged $1 for the disposable flip flops - I've never been charged for them before. It was average in price, not great but not exorbitant either.
When I got home, I noticed a bunch of mistakes on my pedicure. Filing was crooked, missed spots in the polish, and I never got a top coat. My heels still had dry skin - usually my feet are super soft for at least a week or more when I have been to other places. Oh well. I won't be back.
They were very nice they did a great job, on mine and my mommy's nails and didn't try to up sale.
Showed them a reference picture of what I wanted and got exactly that!! I was in and out of there very quickly and the price was great for the service I got :) will definitely be coming back.
My daughter and granddaughter and I all wrnt in to get manicures and pedicures. My daughter and granddaughter got lovely maniures.. mine was sooo horrible. My nails are bumpy and have high and low spots I had to come home and refill them. On top of all.of that our 3 manicuresand 3 pedicures cost us $330 that is so outrageous. I guess we won't be doing this again.
My niece took five of the aunties and grandma in for pedicures back in February. We got there early and they were waiting for us but were rushed the whole time. Very minimal communication, which I understand some people don't talk much. Four out of five did a terrible job with out gel polish!!! They didn't cut the toenails of two of us, didn't spend time to remove all the cuticle and proceeded to apply the gel. My gel was tick and bumpy so I told the nail tech. She removed it and reapplied and it still looked the same. My sister's nails were only painted in the main top and all sides had no polish. I can say only grandma's nails looked nice and gel lasted 6 weeks. Everyone else the gel polish fell within the first couple of weeks. Never going back
I had pretty high expectations of this place since my friend told me how good it was, but once I got there..it wasn’t very pleasing. While the lady was filing my nails, she cut my skin and left my pinky all red and open. It hurt! She then also cut too close to my cuticle which made my finger bleed. I thought she was going to clean it but she continued to do my nails and used clear polish while their was blood, I got concerned because she uses that same product on other people which is bad! My experience wasn’t good! Btw i paid 52 when i usually pay 40 at my local nail salon, which they do amazing job. Wouldn’t go again
