most of the complaints i'm aware of have to do with customer service--in my experience, however, the only employee that's particularly unpleasant is the son (of the family that owns the store). he's never been especially unpleasant to me, he just appears to REALLY hate being there and it translates into his rather sour behaviour. other than him, nobody else has been too bad.
certainly there are times when i'd like to go somewhere else, but i simply have yet to enter another beauty supply store with the variety/prices they have. i'd definitely say i'm satisfied on that end. plus, the place is clean and organized enough so you can pretty much always find what you're looking for.
all i can say to the prospective customer is: don't go expecting to chat with anyone (except MAYBE the young gals on the sales floor). if you're an "ethnic-looking" person, avoid looking suspicious or you'll be watched the whole time.

First I wish there would have been a sign somewhere saying all sales are final otherwise I wouldn't have bought an $80 hair dryer that I'm very unhappy with. Second, the Chinese lady that works there is rude. The other lady was a huge help. I wish I could say I was happy about that trip but I'm not.
Hit or miss when it comes to customer service but what I can say is that they do have what we're looking for every time. They tend to have a good variety of different products.
FYI: Make sure you read ALL SIGNS that they have; you'll notice the FINAL SALE notice.
These ladies are always friendly and attentive. It's why I've been driving all the way across town for years.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!:: Very surprised and shocked that a $112.00 wig I purchased is not human hair as it is advertised in the store on the wig head. People PLEASE HAVE THE WORKERS REMOVE THE HAIR PRODUCT FROM THE PACKAGING AND LOOK AT THE TAG SEWN INSIDE THE WIG BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. This store could be baiting and switching. Then if you still want to buy it at least you know what you are getting. They don't want pictures taken in the store and one reason could be because they have product descriptions that are false. I hope the wig that I was conned into buying has more wear than a few months as with most synthetic wigs.

Checking to see if this store is still open since pandemic. I keep calling and the phone just disconnects. Not sure if there's a number change or if the business is closed for good.
