Quick Facts About Khyber Cafe

The Khyber Cafe has several strengths that are evident from the comments. First and foremost, the food quality is praised by multiple customers, with many mentioning specific dishes that were delicious. The chicken biryani, chicken steak, and keema chips are all highly recommended, showing that the restaurant is able to excel in its preparation of a variety of dishes.
Another strength of the Khyber Cafe is its diverse menu. Customers appreciate the fact that the restaurant offers traditional "desi" items as well as pasta, BBQ, pizza, desserts, and ice cream. This wide range of options allows for different tastes and preferences to be accommodated, making it a good option for a gathering with family or friends.
Additionally, the availability of parking on site is seen as a positive aspect, particularly when it is mentioned that it is usually available outside of office hours. This convenience factor can make a difference for customers who are looking for a hassle-free dining experience.
Halal certification is also mentioned as a strength, specifically for those who are seeking Halal options. This highlights the restaurant's ability to cater to specific dietary preferences and requirements, making it a preferred choice for Muslim customers.
Furthermore, the Khyber Cafe's seating capacity is praised for being spacious and accommodating for larger groups. This can make it an attractive option for families or gatherings.
However, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. The most common complaint is about the slow service. Multiple customers highlight the slow service and lack of hospitality as a negative aspect of their experience. This can be a significant drawback, as it can impact the overall dining experience, especially for customers who are in a hurry or have limited time.
Another weakness that is mentioned is the slightly higher rates compared to average. While not a major issue for some customers, others may find this off-putting, especially if they feel the quality of service does not match the higher price.
There are also comments about specific dishes that were not up to par. The meat lasagna is mentioned as being average and lacking in spice, while the pizza is criticized for having an undercooked base and lacking in flavor due to excessive cheese. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the food quality, which can be seen as a weakness.
In conclusion, the Khyber Cafe has several strengths such as the quality of its food, diverse menu options, availability of parking, Halal certification, and spacious seating. However, it also has weaknesses in terms of slow service, slightly higher rates, and inconsistencies in food quality. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to improve the overall dining experience for customers.

Best TL Reviews

We got there for 8.30pm as it said on Google they close at 10pm. We were rushing to order because we didn't want them to be late with closing.
Found out after the close at 11pm. The food was great. My husband enjoyed his meal and My children wanted the dessert so they ate a bit of the pizza. I order the meat lasagna which was OK but had no spice. Overall its was great my children loved it and staff were great and friendly too.
Although taste was good but service wasn't very good!!
Very slow service!!
Traditional desi items as well as pasta, BBQ, pizza, desserts and ice-cream!!
Rates slightly more than average!!
Parking on site available usually out of office hours!!
Overall a good option specially if looking for Halal and desi!!
Delicious Nutella waffle! I would highly recommend using butter paper underneath the waffle to preserve the chocolate from being absorbed as seen in the pics. Also, i recommend adding student discount.
The chicken biryani was delicious, defo recommend.
The chicken steak was one of the best ive had. The portion size was huge, recommended to eat with the biryani rice.
The keema pasta, delicious too but would recommend more pasta as there was abit too much keema.
Huge amount of seating, so take your family and enjoy.
The service was extremely slow and lacked in hospitality. But the food was Peng.
Defo try the the mix kebab platter very nice with the yoghurt chutney sauce.
Keema chips sounds simple... But definitely got my dimples showing.. it was outstanding!!! it's a Defo a must have.
The pizza was a let down the base was under cooked and lacked in flavour due to too much cheese... Chicken tikka did not have much flavour.
Hot shot Parmo was very bland...and very hard to chew (chicken must have been triple fried or something proper leather).
Overall experience would be a three. I would go back for sure but the service needs to scratch up and the staff need to communicate to get things running more smoothly!
Food is lovely, staff are friendly, only downside is the service is extra slow, but definitely worth the wait. Great parking and a good selection of food and desserts.
'CHICKEN BIRYANI' ... probably the best description to this place is the dish. If you ask them to make it Desi Style Spicy, they will give you a remarkable tasty Biryani, which is very rare to find around here. The Daal and Haleem are also good side dishes to have (if you can handle a good quantity). They have a WIDE variety of desserts to choose from (it will come in handy, trust me). If you want less sugary dessert, then you can go for Pistachio Milkshake, it has very mild sugar taste and if you have a sweet tooth then either go for a Gajar (carrot) Halwa or Gulab Jamun, with requesting a vannila ice cream scoop. Thank me later.
food is delicious. we ordered naan and lamb curry which was great. And Hot brownie sundae which is worth having. highly recommended ????????
