Quick Facts About Kim Nail & Spa
Kim Nail & Spa place has a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the salon. Let's discuss them in detail:
Strengths:
1. Kevin & Jen, the licensed Nail Technicians, are highly praised for their skills and attention to detail. They are willing to accommodate any shape, length, or type of artificial nail extension requested by the clients. This shows their versatility and willingness to meet the client's preferences.
2. The salon is described as clean and organized, which is an essential aspect of maintaining hygiene and creating a pleasant environment for clients. A clean and organized salon helps ensure the safety and comfort of customers.
3. One regular client highly recommends the salon, indicating that they have built a loyal customer base.
Weaknesses:
1. Multiple comments express dissatisfaction with the quality of services provided. Complaints include issues with cuticles not being done properly, nails not being filed evenly, and acrylic not being applied correctly. These comments suggest a lack of consistency and attention to detail in the overall nail application process.
2. Some customers experienced pain or discomfort during their visit. One customer mentioned that their nail technician filed their skin, almost causing bleeding. Another customer mentioned excruciating pain in their fingers and even considered going to the emergency room after getting their nails done. These incidents indicate a lack of skill or care on the nail technician's part.
3. Price is a recurring concern in the comments. One customer was shocked by the high price charged for a regular full set of nails, which they considered excessive. Another customer expressed disappointment with the quality of a design that was an additional expense. These comments indicate that the salon may not offer competitive pricing or value for the services they provide.
4. Poor customer service is highlighted in some comments. One customer had to wait longer than expected for their appointment and was later told that the salon thought they wanted an eyebrow service instead of nails. This miscommunication and lack of attention to the customer's needs portray a lack of professionalism and organizational skills.
In conclusion, while Kim Nail & Spa place has some strengths such as skilled technicians, attention to detail, and a clean environment, their weaknesses are apparent in the negative comments. Inconsistency in service quality, incidents of pain and discomfort, pricing issues, and poor customer service are areas that need improvement. Kim Nail & Spa should address these weaknesses to enhance customer satisfaction and retain their clients.

Didn’t do the cuticles, didn’t cut my nails before attaching the tip, didn’t cover the whole nail w/acrylic, there are bubbles all in the acrylic & where the tip is attached it is raised, didn’t file them evenly, had to point out that French tip had a line in it had I not said anything I don’t think he would of fixed it,so he had to completely redo the nail, still isn’t right there is a faint white line before the white tip from the previous tip! Had glue all over my fingers and under my nail bed. My nails do not grow at all and after only two days of having these they look like I’ve had them on for a week ????. Save your 45.00 and look for a different salon
The dude was filing my skin, and almost made my thumb bleed. He told me he couldn’t do the palm tree but luckily one of the girls in there were nice enough to do it for me. They aren’t bad but I hate the shape and now my thumb hurts.
Cindy opened her own business. This place SUCKS! Pedi was good but ???? my nails didn't turn out! So disappointed!
Very disappointed‼️ Went into location around 3:30 for a fill-in with Cindy she asked me to come back at 5:30. So I came back at 5:30 to wait another 30 minutes once I got in the chair and started to look at colors she says to me oh you getting nails? I thought you wanted eyebrows done. I never once mentioned eyebrows needless to say she didn't have time for nails but thought it was ok to waste my time. Never going back!!!
I will be going back!!! First time in a llloooonnggg time I can actually like how my nails were done!!
Best nail salon I’ve found. Jane does a fantastic job! I highly recommend.
The first issue I had with this place was the price. After my full set had been completed the lady blindsided me when she tells me "65 dah-lahs" . What in the what?!?! ????
I thought to myself, she can't possibly be referring to U.S currency, there's no way....right?????? (she did in fact mean 65 American dollars. For a regular, non powdery gel type of full set nails on 10 fingers.????♀️) Granted, there was a .. "design" on 4 of those fingers...a simple, no effort needed design which she managed to screw up nonetheless.
My biggest complaint and why I will NEVER return..
Idk what they used but my nails are destroyed after getting a full set a few weeks ago. My real nail was either filed down way too thin or something else happened but i had an excruciating pain in one of my fingers a day or two after getting them done..I couldnt figure out what the problem was and I had thought often of going in to the emergency room (I NEVER go to the doctor for anything..it hurt THAT badly!) Finally the salon applied nail came off and underneath I was missing half of my natural nail! The other nails have since came off and every single one had a rip that went painfully deep into my nail bed.
Not only are my nails beyond ugly now and nothing I can do about it until they fully grow out a new nail but worse than anything, they hurt!. Bandaids have become a daily part of my dressing routine.
Never again.
Go at your own risk.
