Multiple commenters mention feeling disrespected or mistreated by the employees. This includes being spoken down to, being treated like a child, and being rushed or ignored. Another weakness mentioned is the poor quality of the services provided. Multiple commenters express dissatisfaction with the results of their nails, including uneven shaping, overcharging, rough treatment, and the inability to remove certain types of gel polish without drilling. These issues indicate a lack of attention to detail and skill, which can be a major turn-off for customers seeking professional nail services.

Communication is another weakness mentioned in the comments. Multiple commenters mention difficulties understanding the staff due to language barriers. This can lead to misunderstandings, frustration, and a lack of confidence in the services being provided. Some commenters also mention that the staff failed to communicate additional charges or services accurately, resulting in unexpected costs and confusion.
Overall, Kim's Nails place has several weaknesses that should be addressed in order to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. These weaknesses include rude and unprofessional staff, poor quality services, high prices, difficulties with communication, and inconsistencies in service delivery. By addressing these issues and implementing changes, such as improving staff training and communication, Kim's Nails may be able to turn these weaknesses into strengths and provide a better overall experience for their customers.

I came to this location with my two little sisters because one was celebrating her birthday and wanted her nails done. The two ladies working here were rude towards me and my sisters. One of ladies who serviced my sisters for their fullsets tried to convince me that it wasn’t appropriate for her age to get a full set and that she she should get regular gel polish on her fingernails. She also acted impatient with my other sister and wasn’t trying give her the type nails she wanted either. The other lady who was servicing another client for a pedicure, kept looking at me the whole time I was sitting there waiting as my sisters got their nails done and she even told me to call my mom to let her know that they were almost done as if I’m a child and didn’t know that they were about to close. I felt it was rude and very unnecessary.
Went to this nail shop on a whim because I needed my dip manicure updated. The tech put the nail file drill on one of cuticles. She was so rough. She then put it in acetone and said it wouldn't sting. It did of course. I stuck it out because another tech was doing a great job on my daughter. When it was time to pay I was overcharged 15$. My nail shape is awful, and my cuticles is cut. I will never go back.
Very bad attitude not worth the money they charge I wouldn't let my dog be mistreated and spend almost 100 for nails with no polish cause I gotta go home and file again
I asked for almond shape and they are uneven. I usually get a clear gel overlay cuz the shine last longer and i can change my polish without losing the shine but she gave me a color gel that i wasn’t happy with and to my surprise is mot removable without drilling. To top it off i was charged 50$. I will mot be returning as a friend of mine has told me she can get mani and a pedi for that price.
I went there with my mother on her birthday and we got two pedicures. They asked me if I wanted gel and I said no. They asked me if I wanted gel for my mother and I said no. We never get gel. My mother had polished her toe nails 2 days before we went to this place. These ladies need to be retrained if they can't tell the difference between Dollar General nail polish and professional gel polish. When I got to the register my bill came out more than the price they listed. They told me it was because my mother had gel on her toes from a previous visit. I told them we never get gel. Three different ladies came up to the register to explain why they were charging me extra. Initially I couldnt understand them beacuse neither of them spoke good English. Because I don't like to cause scenes, I just paid they extra and withheld the tips we each were going to give to them. That was poor service not to have stated that they thought she had gel before they removed the polish. They just add it to my bill. They removed both my old polish and her polish with some type of drill tool. Poor service does not deserve any kind of tip and it needs to be reported. They will not receive business from us anymore.
Went to Kim’s nails on Airline 2/22. Received a full set with pedicure as well as my children a pedicure. First they prices are very expensive compared to what they use to be. I understand everything has gone up do to the pandemic but they prices are ridiculous. Kids pedicure should NOT be $30!! Then I received a full set only to have my nail hurting and throbbing a couple days later. So I went to another nail shop to have the full set removed only to find out I have a nail fungus. I’ve never had a fungus in over 25yrs of me getting my nails done. This place has really went down since Mindy & Christy left. I would not recommend this nail shop !!!!!!
Went for a spa pedicure in December 2021. The pedicure was ok, but once the lady was done she left polish all over the top of my toe nails and there were spots on my other toes that didn’t have any polish on them! I pointed this out to her and she instantly caught an attitude. She even started manhandling my feet! I’m always so surprised that these people really think anyone will tip them when they act like this. So after she fixes her mistakes she comes to me and says “you need to pay” without even telling me the total! So I ask her “ok how much is it?” and she says “$37”. I then reminded her that I was paying for my friend and she seemed to struggle to do basic math because she said “it’s $37 for you and $37 for her”. My response to this was “and the total is..?” She eventually gives me the full amount she plans to charge my card so I hand over the card. When she gets back from running the card she hands me the receipts and just stands there. I tell her I‘ll give her the receipt when I’m done and that she doesn’t need to hover over me. Her response was “you need to sign it!” So after being annoyed by her rudeness and incompetency, that’s exactly what I do. I simply sign the receipt without filling in the tip and leave. FOR ANY NAIL SALON WORKERS READING THIS: Be prepared to NEVER BE TIPPED if you think it’s ok to treat your PAYING customers like this. FOR ANYONE WHO HAS DEALT WITH THIS BEHAVIOR: Stop tipping disrespectful service bc you don’t owe them anything extra, period. Especially, if they treat you badly. Tipping is extra money and it’s really strange that nail workers think you’ll always tip so they don’t have to give you good service. Also, please take the time to put them on blast in reviews so everyone knows to go elsewhere to get their nails done. Lastly, I didn’t catch the lady’s name but she was older, wore glasses, and had long green nails when I was there (December 30, 2021).
I went to this shop for a pedicure soaked in the water a hour & waited for them to skip me for someone else they said they didn’t know I was next but I told them &
3 others including the young lady they skip me for they had a opportunity to make it right & didn’t so
I left. I will not beg them to give them my money. I would not recommend at all.
