Never stepping foot in here again. DO NOT GO TO KOKO’s HAIR BRAIDING! Unprofessional, rude, they don’t care about your time or your hair.
They braid good and got snacks and drinks. They try to accommodate customers as much as they can.
I paid $240 for my hair to be braided to my waist and it is bra strap length instead! This is even after me stopping them after the first couple of braids to tell them it wasn’t the correct length! Thought the issue was fixed until They finished and I stood up.Never again.
I went there to get my kinky twist done 4 years ago. they did excellent, so July 2016 i took my son to get his hair twisted they charged us $100 it lasted 5hrs. Tried to get it redone they did not have any openings until Sunday, but we were going out of town so obviously we cant make the appt. So i recommended to her a refund, or fix it when we get back still waiting on answer.
It has been a week since I had braids placed in my hair and they are already slipping out. Not only that the braids are pulling out my hair along with them when I specifically asked her to NOT braid my hair so tight and pull my hair. This is my first time going to them due to previous hairdo's I saw where they pulled tight and I asked way before starting to not pull my hair so tight. I am now having to take my hair out after a week to avoid any extra falling out with my hair and paid $160.00. I am not pleased with them at all.
Came in to get my hair braided and asked how much the lady said 250. Sure no problem. I came in sat down and the lady had a straight up attitude. I texted Koko and told her I wasnt feeling it. I wanted her to come in and do my hair. She came in with ALOT OF KIDS. Didnt ever touch my hair and asked could another young lady complete the process. At this point I'm like okay because I'm over the whole process. I got home and my hair was braided so tight that I got bumps and the whole braid came out with the root of my hair. I also seen them use the same towel on multiple clients. I was so shocked I will never be back. So disappointed. Not the same environment or quality as the old shop. WONT BE BACK
The braider kept dropping the hair on the floor and did not perform the technique promised. I lost three braids within the first week. The braids slid right out of my hair. They spoke another language for most of the service and kept laughing. Very unprofessional.
They do amazing work , but I always have a bad experience when I get my hair done . If it’s not changing the prices of the same style I have gotten before, or getting upset because I’m not paying more. Then having drama with customers over their braids that they didn’t like . The shop has changed from when I went their before . Sadly to say I will not go back to get service done.
