So either you damage your nails to pay them higher price or you are not welcome if you are a lady who has healthy nail and only want to do regular manicure ???????? with cut shape and color
Specifically asked for natural polish as I’m pregnant, he put shellac on accident I wanted a refund as you can see the paint job is not good. Only offered $20 back cash when I paid $55 on a card. Exposed to more chemicals then I wanted since u need to use acetone to get off shellac.
Terrible! I went here on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. I got a pedicure and the guy that did them cut too much of my cuticle on the side of my toe and now my toe is swollen, probably from the dirty utensils. I called September 8, 2022 to let them know and the guy just said “got it.” I will NEVER be back. I spent $140 including tip and never will I ever give them my time or money. Disrespectful & disgusting.
Reasonably priced and great service. I personally go to Peter and he’s amazing. Would recommend. Only place where my nails last long.
Previous customer in the past when convenient near work so decided to go back! Once after receiving a pedicure I realized same business name but totally different people. The service was poor! Pedicure lasted no more than 15 mins they do not put any powder,rocks,color solution Nothing in the tub but water! This was the quickest pedicure I’ve ever received the prices are drastic. I realize EVERYTHING has increased but $90 for a rush job must stop! Not to mention shellac was my only option once in chair no longer doing regular polish and now cash only. With that said and off my chest I will not be back. NO THANK YOU ON A LOUSY JOB FOR A SIMPLE PEDICURE AND MANICURE ✋????????????????0️⃣
Deceptive business practices. I sent my two daughters there to get basic pedicures. They were given shellac without their consent and what should have been $30 a person turned into $60 a person. I spoke with a very rude and condescending manager who stated they were asked about upgrades in the chair and agreed to them. My daughters don't even know what shellac is! I guarantee they wouldn't have pulled that mess had I been there. They took advantage of my daughters and should be ashamed. Find another place to spend your money.
I use to highly recommend this place but since management has changed customer service & the quality of work gone down drastically!! They no longer care about satisfying their customers the jobs are always rushed anytime u have to come home and go over a pedicure you recently received is bad!! They all have attitudes especially BILLY you ask him to cut or change color he looks at you like you're bothering him he doesn't even speak i guess cus you not a regualr of his. I've been coming here since they opened I'm looking for a new nail shop cus this is ridiculous! Emily & Tom are NICE!!! along wit cpl others but this place is horrible bring back the old staff!!!
This is my second time here. The first time was because a different salon messed up my nails on my birthday and Mickie (or is it Nicki?) Was suggested to me by my homegirl and she fixed everything for me. This time I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered.
I am a travel nurse and I've been all over the country and this by far is my favorite!!! (with a close second in Reno, NV).
Oh! And the lady who did my pedicure was phenomenal. Attention to detail was impeccable.
I'm leaving Detroit to go to my next assignment but my plan is to fly back once a month just to take care of my beauty services including coming to Kool Nails to get my nails done!
