I got a sew in. She told me don't wash it, it'll only last 2 months and I was suspicious of the hair she provided. I drove an hour to the shop paid 280$ and was so disappointed I have to literally pay somebody to remove the hair. My part ain't right, it shows the thread, my closure lifted, everything shifted back by day two I cannot show my forehead at all for fear of being thoroughly embarrassed. I got my hair done because I'm so depressed that I thought looking nice would help me get out of bed and I was cheated. She told me I'm not supposed to move my hair at all and it's supposed to have a tore up hairline. I'm so upset that I look so awful I literally have to drive hours away to get this fixed plus spend 300$ plus to fix it. She should be ashamed of herself! I'm barely hanging onto life and you basically take from me. I have to walk around wit the knowledge that I've been cheated once again n Im the one crying! I'm the one getting laughed at because I trusted a hair shop to treat me fairly and do a dignified sew in. I should be able to show my forehead period. Why is this okay? I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau too.
COME HERE IF YOU NEED BRAIDS! Charlotte is the BEST! These are literally the best braids I’ve ever had. I am so happy!!! She was so fast, sweet, considerate and just a beautiful woman inside & out. She will hook you up! Do no hesitate! I will be back for all of my braiding needs! You get what you pay for ????

Charlotte and her family did an amazing job. I am very pleased with their work. They worked very efficiently and the prices are very reasonable. Store is very clean and the ladies are all so sweet and hard working. You will not be disappointed. I will tell everyone to come here.
I LOVEEEE Charlotte and her daughters. Salon is very clean and organized. She offers hair products to maintain your selected style and she very good with detail. Great communication and great pricing for great quality work. I got micro braids and was done within 3hrs which is great. I highly recommend this place.

I called Akiba’s Hair Braiding salon and I was able to book an appointment for the following day to get long box braids. Ms. Charlotte and her assistants are professional, welcoming and they work very fast. They did a fantastic job. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I received and my braids.
Charlotte is an absolute delight. I came to her with absolutely no idea what I was doing. This is my first experience with having my hair braided. She almost put me to sleep while doing my box braids. If not for the wonderful conversation I would have fallen asleep.
I have found my spot for beautidul hair. Could not be happier with my hair and the service was hands down the best A+++
