"Fades and Fros" is great! All the barbers are highly skilled and friendly, and can cut a variety of hair textures into a myriad of styles. My son's hair is always looking fresh after a Fades and Fros cut. I highly recommend them.
By far the worst haircut I've gotten in my entire life. I showed him a picture of a haircut I'd previously gotten and was completely ignored. Shaved half of my head off and didn't even cut the top. After it was all said and done I had to shave the rest of my hair off and go bald. Only after I shaved my hair did i realized he had cut a bald spot in my hair.
*Dishonest and took advantage of clients new to the area. Made a quick buck, but lost life time clients*
When I called I asked for the price for one adult and one child. I was told,."Two for 30. I then asked what time I could stop by. The barber answered, 2:30.
I arrived early at 1 p.m.
The younger barber (balding with a receding hairline) did my son hair at 1:45 ish and mine at 2.
Nothing fancy.
When I gave $30 he asked for $60.
I asked why, he responded that walk ins are $15, but reservations are $30.
While he was cutting my hair I told him I was new to the area, and that's when he decided to scam me.
There's a small notice on the far while typed in 10 point type that explains reservations are $30 each.
We did not reserve a cut. We arrived early and because that shop has slow traffic we were seen shortly after.
The barber decided since we were new to the area and we did not tell him we were walk-ins and not reservations he would charge us as reservations even thoughbwe waited and there was no one in the barber shop but us when we got our cut.
Don’t let Kenny cut your hair. He’s the worst. His hands even smelled dirty and he had them all over my head. Hands shouldn’t smell at all. Gene is alright but never get stuck with Kenny.
They were able to take me in as a walk-in, but Kenny only spent about 15 minutes on my haircut and basically left one side of it cut, but not totally finished. Additionally his clipper blade wan't adjusted properly or he was pressing to hard when using just the blade to edge up my neck, which lead to a section on my neck that feels similar to a sunburn and two additional minor cuts. I had to finish the remainder of the haircut at home because they closed for the night.
The barber answered about 7 calls during the course of my haircut. He was talking on the phone with one hand and cutting my hair with the other. At times he wasn't even looking at my hair while he cut it and at one point he pulled down the side of my mask with one hand to tighten up the sides using the hand his phone was in so his dumb conversation was blaring into my ear. Lo and behold, the haircut was atrocious. probably the worst I've ever received. Paid no attention to my instructions. The other barber who appeared to be the owner was very nice and welcoming though .
Always on point never messy with the kids edges
D, (barber) is very skillful and professional.. My grandson loves getting his bald fades.
