Quick Facts About KT Nails & Spa

KT Nails & Spa has received both positive and negative comments from customers. Assessing these comments, it is possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the salon.
One of the main strengths of KT Nails & Spa is their long-standing reputation. One customer mentions that they have been going to this salon for almost 20 years, which indicates a level of trust and satisfaction with their services. This loyalty speaks to the quality of their work and the ability to consistently meet customer expectations.
Additionally, the positive comment highlights the great service provided at KT Nails & Spa. The customer highly recommends the salon, indicating that the staff is attentive and provides excellent customer service. The emphasis on the overall experience suggests that the salon creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for its customers.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses that are indicated in the negative comments. One weakness is the issue with the receptionist's scheduling error. This resulted in a significant inconvenience for the customer, who had to rush after work only to find out that the technician had left. This implies a lack of organization and communication within the salon, suggesting that improvements need to be made in terms of managing appointments and ensuring that customers are properly informed.
Another common issue raised in the negative comments is the inconsistency of service provided by the nail technicians. The customer mentioned that they had previously had a good experience with one technician but had encountered problems with other technicians on subsequent visits. This inconsistency could be attributed to a lack of training or quality control measures within the salon.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of attention to customer requests. One customer mentioned that their nails were not done as requested, and the technician did not listen to their preferences. This suggests that there may be a disconnect between the customer and the technicians, and a lack of attention to detail or customization of services.
Furthermore, there are concerns about the level of expertise and professionalism of some technicians. One negative comment mentions that the technician did not have the necessary skills to achieve the desired nail design and shape. The customer felt that they could have received better service elsewhere for a lower price, indicating a lack of value for the money spent.
Finally, there is a comment mentioning a negative experience with a technician who exhibited inappropriate behavior. The customer felt uncomfortable with personal questions and perceived racist behavior. This suggests a need for better employee training and a focus on creating a professional and inclusive environment for customers.
In summary, while KT Nails & Spa has strengths such as a long-standing reputation and great overall service, there are weaknesses that need to be addressed. These include scheduling and communication issues, inconsistency in service quality, a lack of attention to customer preferences, and concerns about professionalism and inclusivity. By addressing these weaknesses, KT Nails & Spa can improve the overall customer experience and increase customer satisfaction.

KT Nails & Spa is my go-to place for getting my nails and eyebrows done. I've been getting my nails done by them for almost 20 years and they always do an amazing job! All around great service...I highly recommend!
I had an appointment scheduled for 5pm the receptionist put down the wrong time for 4:30 when I told him I finish work at 4:30 so I can be at the salon at 5, the nail salon close at 6pm. my nail tech Don left without even telling me, I rushed out of work, drove all the way in traffic to the mall for the receptionist to call me while I’m walking in and tell me the tech left. When she called me 10mins prior and didn’t say anything, I could have drove home or to another nail salon. I texted the tech the day before to come in the day before and no response so I called to set the appt and still nothing was completed. I’m very upset becus I have been going to this location for a while but this time I need my nails done for my birthday and now I have to find a new nail tech at the last minute. I’m so upset with business, they need new receptionist who can do their job properly and the tech need to communicate better with his customers.
I’ve came here several times over the years. Two months ago I had my nails done by Emily and they turned out nice. She did a good job. The last two times that I have come has not been the best experience. Three weeks ago I came in for dip powder nails. I thought that’s the nails I got but I found out on todays visit that my nails were acrylic and not dip powder nails. Mind you, I don’t do nails and I have no idea what the process is for each one. So on todays visit when I went to remove these nails is when they told me they were acrylic instead of dip. I sit down with nail tech Jackie to get them removed and this lady soaked them for five minutes and proceeded to use her own nails to rip them off. I’m telling this lady that it’s hurting and to be more gentle and she tells me it takes to long to soak and she’s just going to rip them off. Well she ripped one of them so bad that my actual nail ripped All the way into my nail bed. Hurt so bad. This is when I’m like no more and I grabbed the clippers and did the last one on the other side myself. She distorted my natural nails. They are so thin and scratched up. Now I show her a simple French with a line of silver glitter and she tells me that’s it’s not going to look good because my nail is short now. She does it anyways and she doesn’t even line it up good. Jackie is the worst nail lady I’ve ever had. This place doesn’t listen to any of your requests they just do what ever makes them more money and they suck. Aside from Emily, she’s great.
If I could give zero stars I would. I came here to do my nails for homecoming and the service was awful. Although the staff was not rude, the guy named Johnny who did my nails was clearly underqualified. I showed a designed with long coffin shaped nails and french tips. He did not even attempt to do a coffin shape, it looked like every shape, but coffin. When doing the french tips, you could clearly see my real nails and looked awful. I asked him why did it look like that and he stated that after he filled and buffed the nails, it was going to be gone, well it wasn't. I asked the lady who did my pedicure to just paint over it with the color I did. I was charged $75 dollars for plain acrylics, literally could have paid less and gotten better nails at Walmart. I was not going to write this review, but I don't want people to leave disappointed like i did. They should train their employees better, for $75 I expected more. Do not come here.
Wish I could give zero stars, Would not recommend this place at all my girlfriend came here to her nails and was so disappointed with the results. They should hire people who know how to properly shape and design nails correctly. Would never be back here again.
I don't like the guy do mi nails very racist and ask me too much about mi life I go do mi nails not biography I don't like never go again
Be careful! Got a skin tear with a simple eyebrow wax here. Had never happened to me before and is super painful
