Quick Facts About L.A Nails

L.A Nails Place is a popular nail salon with a mix of both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to analyze its strengths and weaknesses, we will take into consideration the comments provided by different customers.
Starting with the strengths, many customers praise the skills and professionalism of the nail technicians at L.A Nails. Tina is mentioned multiple times in the comments as being excellent, skilled, and providing high-quality service. She is known for her attention to detail and perfectionism, which is a strength of the salon. Customers appreciate her ability to create even and beautiful acrylic nails that last for a long time. This demonstrates that L.A Nails has a strong team of talented nail technicians.
Another strength of L.A Nails is the friendly and accommodating staff. Several customers mentioned feeling welcomed and having positive interactions with the staff. This indicates that the salon has a good customer service culture and strives to make customers feel comfortable and valued. The fact that some customers have been coming to L.A Nails for years also suggests that they have built a loyal customer base through their friendly service.
Furthermore, L.A Nails has customers who are satisfied with their pedicures. The comments mention skilled technicians who provide a good pedicure experience. This indicates that the salon is able to provide a variety of services beyond just nail enhancements.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one major issue highlighted by multiple customers is the presence of a rude and unskilled nail technician. This particular technician is mentioned as being abrupt, rushed, and impatient with customers. Some customers even stopped going to L.A Nails because of this technician. This negative experience reflects poorly on the salon and gives it a bad reputation. It is crucial for L.A Nails to address this issue and improve the training or attitude of this particular technician, as it is affecting the overall customer experience.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the painful experience of getting acrylic nails removed at L.A Nails. The customer describes the process as being rough, with the technician plucking and ripping the nails off without proper care. This resulted in red and inflamed nail beds, and even bruising on one of the nails. Such a painful and damaging experience is definitely a weakness of the salon and needs to be addressed. Proper training and techniques should be implemented to ensure gentle and safe removal of acrylic nails.
Furthermore, one customer mentioned that the service was rushed and resulted in crooked, uneven, and poor-quality nail polish and gel application. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and quality control within the salon. In order for L.A Nails to improve, it is important for them to ensure consistency in the quality of their services across all nail technicians.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the issue of double booking and poor customer service on the phone. Customers complain about not being ready or on time for their appointments, as well as feeling rushed and dismissed on the phone. This indicates a lack of organization and professionalism in terms of appointment management. L.A Nails should address this weakness by implementing better scheduling systems and training their phone staff to provide excellent customer service.
In conclusion, L.A Nails Place has several strengths, such as skilled technicians, friendly staff, and positive pedicure experiences. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, including the presence of a rude and unskilled technician, painful acrylic nail removal, inconsistent quality of services, and issues with appointment management and phone etiquette. By addressing these weaknesses and building upon their strengths, L.A Nails can improve the overall customer experience and reputation of their salon.

Tina is great and she is very much a perfectionist and my full set of acrylics took about an hour which is fine, my nails are very even and i love them!!!! I definitely recommend tina and this salon.
The nail techs are great EXCEPT 1... the girl in the first station. She is rude, abrupt, hurts doing nails, unwelcoming, rushes the job, impatient with customers. I think she's bad for LA Nails business. I wish the owner would see that. I know 2 clients who stopped going because of that tech on station 1. I've witnessed other customers not satisfied with her. She gives LA Nails a bad rap. She always has an attitude and makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Even though I will never go to her again, she makes the visit uncomfortable and unpleasant. Which takes away from the other great nail techs!
I went in to get my acrylics off and get a regular paint. The tech was awesome. I had lost my real nail on one of my fingers under the acrylic and she was very gentle and professional.
Tina is the best. She did such wonderful job on my manicure nails. They actually lasted over a month looking fantastic. This is now my salon!
I am in no way picky about my nails… I went to LA Nails and decided on a pretty turquoise color for a full set. I want to add ahead of time that this entire procedure took roughly 20 minutes. Thats it! When I got there I was sat immediately, as it was still early in the morning. Right from the start I did not feel welcome. Two of my nails had broken off the night before (making them very sensitive) so I decided to take the rest off and get a brand new full set.. poor choice. Taking them off was the most painful experience I have ever had at any salon. No acetone to soak or anything. The woman proceeded to pluck my nails off like it was nothing, scraping and ripping them off, leaving the beds of my nails red and inflamed, even bruising one of them. She then took 15 minutes to rush through my nails, making them crooked, uneven and blobbing on the nail polish and gel. I enjoy a shorter nail to begin with, but I have never seen my nails pop up so much as they did when I was done here. I was so upset that when I left I immediately went to a different salon and had them take the set off. I cannot speak on behalf of all the nail techs there, however I will never recommend anyone to LA Nails with the chance of that experience. My nails are still throbbing and sensitive after that and it was a complete waste of $70.
There are plenty of other salons around that can take better care of your nails, I promise.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wait was not too long and I loved my nails. The person who did my pedicure was very skilled, I’ve been coming here for years now and I loved it every time!
My favorite nail salon very nice people and the manager very welcoming today had the pleasure to get my Pedicure gel color done by Tina she did good , she the best thank you
I hate that they double book appointments so they are never ready or on time. Whoever answers the phone is rude and rushes you off as if you were a bill collector and not a customer. I’m definitely looking into different salons because this one is not it. A tip is not just for a job well done but for excellent customer service. So needless to say if you want someone to treat you like a dollar and not a person this is the place for you. I’ll be viewing other options
