Best TL Reviews

Food is hot, freshly cooked and value for money. Been a few years since I was here last but still great.
Miles better than any chineese restaurant! Large portions and very TASY !! Reasonable prices! Highly recommend ????????????
Good quality fish and chips, cooked fresh and great service, thanks.
Very nice large portion of tasty Chinese food.
Love it. So much food for your money. The selection on offer is awesome. Always greeted with a big smile, while all staff are so friendly. Parking can be hit and miss though as it's a residential street. Well worth phoning an order through. They are pretty fast at dealing with all orders and getting you out the door LOL. Health Hygiene rating is 5. Very highly recommended.
My first time here at this is hidden gem takeaway. Foods style from East China and I ordered crispy beef in ok sauce, duck and tofu, special fried rice and special szechuan style. Definitely rate these foods 5 star because quality of the food. The price is cheap and the staff are really friendly. I'll be back again.
I used to like the Special Fried Rice that they served here but I now prefer the Special Fried Rice from Mann's 2000 which is further up Walmersley Rd opposite the Towler has they use white Rice in theirs & the meat used is in good chunks as well has they throwing an omelet in with the recipe, Hmmmm Delish. I do not comprehend these other reviews giving 4 n 5 stars, maybe they just serving me lousy uncooked n overpriced food. I got my father Fish N Chips from here earlier the Chips weren't crispy they looked like they'd been boiled as still white. Waited around 25 minutes for it their excuse someone called in for a big order. Any way I got back home & my father ate a small amount of it saying he didn't like it. by 8.30 my father was sweating like crazy, Shaking & Throwing up, he looked terrible at 22.30 so I got him to take some paracetamol & had him drink lots of cold water, he says that he thinks he's had food poisoning has the fish he had earlier didn't taste right. Also don't expect to pay what menu prices are has they've over charged me on last 2 visits. I got him to bed & hopefully he will start to feel a little better once he's had some sleep. He did recover after a few days. Now I go too Mann's 2000 whenever I want a Chippy tea give this place a Wide Berth. I called in yesterday has my preferred place Mann's was closed & my father wanted fish n chips. Yet again chips were boiled & the fish was atrocious just over a quarter inch thick without the batter looked like they'd slice 1 piece into 2 & don't go off their menu prices has the fish was £5.50 not the £4 it states in their menu they also charged 20p for a carrier bag I didn't ask for. Next time dad want fish n chips I won't be calling here.
Well what a shame. This was my first time here since being isolated for 12 weeks. and i was looking forward to my food. Until a young girl serving me blew her nose infront of me not washing her hands and continuing to wipe her drippy nose. I asked for my money back and left. This was absolutely disgusting. Especially at the time of such a serious pandemic. My husband has kidney failure and certainly would not feed him food from this place. You as a business should be ashamed of yourself. I will not recommend this place and I will most definately not go back. I would give it no stars but there was no option.
