A big thank you to Sam & Team for a night to remember. Delicious food with a good number of vegan and vegetarian options. The sauce of the Signature Lemongrass dish was especially delicious. Loved seeing/hearing the birthday table next to us being serenaded by Sam and his guitar. Will make sure to spread the word of such a pleasantly unexpected lovely evening.
Disappointing. No answer at the restaurant on Sunday at 530 opening time for 30 minutes. Deliveroo instead. Food was bland and below average. Weeping tiger beef was limp grey and had no flavour - and was served on a bed of almost raw onion and bell pepper - for £19! Tom yum soup was inedible - sickly sweet and no depth of flavour. Pad Thai was stodgy. The Thai red curry was lacking flavour - I can make better at home with a supermarket jar and tin of coconut milk. The whole meal lacked any sense of freshness. The highlight of the meal was the sticky rice and even that was still served in the microwaved plastic bag they bought it from!
Attended on bank holiday Monday, our party of five thoroughly enjoyed or meals here including our 17 year old. The service was very good and attentive, which added to our enjoyment.
Booked a table for pre-theatre dinner. Very tasty and freshly made food. The Thai green curry seemed very watery but was perfect when accompanied with the rice. Very authentic flavours. Good staff and good service for a very busy restaurant. Would definitely return when we have more time to eat!
We visited for the first time for a family celebration, a couple of us having never eaten Thai before and will certainly be returning!
The food was cooked to order so fresh, hot and tasted fantastic.
The staff could not have done more to make our visit more pleasant, always around to check in we had all we needed and very chatty and friendly.
Highly recommend a visit, we will certainly be returning!
Great lunch at the Lemongrass Thai restaurant today. Lovely staff and food was delicious. Thank you ????
Often used them for their lunch Tapas Special which they no longer offer!!
Only found out once we were sat down for lunch, so got up and walked out. Have also used them for evening dinner. The food and service always 5 star but they just lost a customer.
If you eat off the main menu and are prepared to spend that amount of money, do not be put off by my comment.
We are repeat guests to The Lemongrass but haven't been since they've had new ownership. The difference is obvious. Attentive staff, eager to please, without the rush to leave when lunch service is over.....it isn't, it opens all day.
The food was delicious. The tapas menu was delectable, fresh and on point.
I would highly recommend.
