Quick Facts About Luv Nails
Luv Nails Strengths:
1. Excellence in service: Multiple customers praise the nail technicians, specifically T and Sandy, for doing a wonderful job on their hands and feet. Miss "T" and Lynn are also commended for their beautiful nail and eyebrow work, respectively. This indicates a high level of skill and proficiency among the nail technicians at Luv Nails.
2. Competitive prices: Luv Nails is mentioned as being the cheapest option on the side of town for one customer. This suggests that Luv Nails offers affordable services, which can be a significant strength for customers looking for quality nail services at a reasonable price.
3. Convenience: Some customers mention that there are days when they can get in and out quickly, indicating that Luv Nails provides efficient service. The fast service can be appealing to customers with busy schedules who value their time.
4. Long-standing customer loyalty: Multiple comments suggest that several customers have been going to Luv Nails for many years. This loyalty speaks to the quality of service and customer satisfaction experienced at the salon.
Luv Nails Weaknesses:
1. Lack of investment in shop appearance and polish colors: One customer mentions that the shop seemed to have stopped investing in polish colors and updating the shop. This can leave customers with limited options and perhaps a less appealing atmosphere compared to other nail salons that prioritize updating their brand image.
2. Inconsistency in quality: One review mentions that while the price is low, the customer's nails did not always come out as desired. The coffin shape would round out in about a week, and acrylic would be left under the nail. This inconsistency in quality can be a significant weakness for Luv Nails, potentially leading to dissatisfied customers.
3. Unprofessionalism and poor customer service: Several negative comments highlight unprofessional behavior and poor customer service experienced at Luv Nails. A customer mentions feeling rushed during their appointment, while another recounts an instance where a nail technician handed over the job to the customer. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service can drive customers away and damage the salon's reputation.
4. Rude and dismissive treatment of customers: Multiple customers mention experiencing rude behavior from the owner and staff at Luv Nails. One customer recounts being turned away rudely due to the salon's alleged busyness, while another reports being told she could not get both a pedicure and eyebrow service close to closing time. Such dismissive and unpleasant treatment can lead to customers seeking services elsewhere and negatively impact Luv Nails' reputation.
In conclusion, while Luv Nails has strengths in terms of skillful nail technicians, competitive pricing, convenience, and a loyal customer base, it also faces weaknesses regarding the lack of investment in the shop's appearance and polish colors, inconsistency in service quality, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service, as well as instances of rude and dismissive treatment of customers. Addressing these weaknesses will be crucial for Luv Nails to maintain and improve its reputation and customer satisfaction.

T and Sandy always does a wonderful job on my hands and feet
I love Miss "T". She does such a beautiful job with my nails. Shout out to Lynn who makes your eyebrows "smile" and there's another beautiful lady their nail technician that sits behind thank you for the beautiful pedicures
This was always my places to go. Tee and Linn were the only two I would like to do my gel nails and toes.. Linn on my eyebrows.. Great work from those two always! Luvs were the cheapest on my side of town but it seemed they stopped investing in polish colors and no updates were made to shop. After going for years, I ran out of options. Some days you’re in and out others you have a long wait. They will always be my back up shop.
I was going here for 5+ years. Everyone was nice and the price use to be 20 for a full set but my nails never came out how I really wanted them. It has gone up to 23 but that's still really cheap. The coffin shape would round out in about a week.Acrylic would be left under my nail sometimes, and a nail might be lopsided but for 20 bucks I could deal. I decided to stop going because it became to unprofessional. The customer service was terrible and the nail tech always rushed me. I asked to have one nail filled again because it was very lopsided and she handed me the file and side you do it. That was the end for me.
I was a faithful customer here when I was younger, went for a pedicure about a month and was surprised by the level of rudeness. The owner asked me what I want and I said pedicure and she replies we too busy come back later. I said okay and went to another shop...Empire Nails and spa by the new Walmart. They were friendly took me immediately and seemed to appreciate my business. I will NEVER return to Luv Nails.
I went here on New Year's Eve got my daughter feet and nails painted and got my eyebrows nails and feet done. I am happy with my feet and eyebrows but my nails i guess cause I won't a regular customer she thought she could just throw anything on my hands. My nails were thick and had the arcrylic all under them. Then she left me sitting there nails half way done to go do somebody eyebrows for 20 mins. My daughter polish came off the same day but before she did them she told me I can't do her nails if she don't keep still. Wow I probably never go here again. This was my 2nd time going here and hasn't had my nails done in years so I wanted the newest design and style and got nothing near. Really disappointed in them. Glad to know they treat they regulars good to keep business going.
I'd been going to a nail place at White Oak. The front desk people are nice but the pedicurists have never been friendly, speak to each other only in their language and they always are rushing me thru. A friend recommended I try Luv Nails and ask for Tom. Everyone was nice, all spoke English, were funny and Tom took his time on my feet. He used hot towels with no extra charge and they were less expensive. I will keep going back. Tom isn't there anymore but everyone is great.
Went there at 5:50 pm and was told very rudely there would be a 30 minute wait like they were trying to finish their present customers and didnt want to accept more. The woman ahead of me asked to get a pedi and brows do e and was told she could not get both although we were both there 1 hr and 10 minutes before closing time
