At first I couldn't get the design I wanted (a simple black to nude ombre) since the nail tech said she couldn't do it. I told her to do all black since they didn't want to compromise or try an easier design. The lady was really aggressive with my hands and hit me with tools and dug her nails into me to move my hand. I was also shocked when after informing her a nail was lifting she just put acrylic over it and didn't do anything to repair the lifted nail. She didn't really communicate with me and actually even left me sitting alone with no reason as to why for a few minutes after filling off the old polish. Within hours of getting home the nail polish is already starting to peel off and I haven't done anything aggressive to my nails to start it. I don't think I'll be recommending or going back to this nail salon no matter how close it is to me. The experience was unpleasant.
I had to edit this to a one star since today one of my nails ripped off with no force. I don't have a job that requires a lot of physical work so there is no reason this should have happened and they have made it difficult to try and get a refund. I've never had my nails last less than two days.
I used Nina, efficient, polite, advised me on choosing the right color when she thought I'd gone too light. My nails are pretty and simple and done evenly. I had gone to a different nail salon a few days earlier and my nails were so chunky and badly done that I had them redone at Lux. They have a repeat customer in me.
I go to this place for about a year and love it. Yes, some technicians are better like in every place. My favorite is Andy. He takes his time but nails are always perfect.
People need to understand that for the technicians English is their 2nd language and yes, there will be little fluency sometimes and some accentd more challenging to understand. So what? But I think a lot of people are judging that rather than the services they provide.
Once I felt like one of the technicians was pushing gel on my pedicure, which I didn't want. That is fine. I just avoid that same girl. But overall their service is great. So stop degrading this place because the employees talk on their native language to each other or because their credit card system was down.

I was a walk in and was greeted by a sweet front desk girl. Was seated with nail tech Andy. He was very kind and professional. I liked how everyone was kind and polite, dressed professional and had name badges. Andy did a wonderful job on my nails. I will definitely be stopping by to see him again.
The best customer service. Very kind. Clean and quick. TeeTee is my nail tech and I can count on her to make sure my real nails are flawless. I’m here every 2 weeks for my fill and pedicure and it’s always a great experience
Love the staff. I think I was over charged but, I love the Lux Nail Bar. New packages, so it may have been a system mistake. I did not go back and ask. Wonderful staff and they really take care of you! Will travel from Maricopa to this place. Love ❤️
Nina is the best. She always is able to recreate any mail design I want. Work is very neat and she is very professional. Definitely recommend.
Me and my daughter stopped by to get dip done yesterday and not only did they charge more than was talked about but every one of my nails was crooked and was not filed good. They look so clumpy or the same shape at all! I didn’t leave a big tip for that reason and instead of asking if something was wrong the employee started laughing and started speaking in their language to one another. I do not recommend at all!
