Quick Facts About Luxi Nails & Spa
Luxi Nails & Spa has a mix of positive and negative comments that highlight both their strengths and weaknesses. From the comments, we can gather the following:
Strengths:
1. Skillful technicians: Several customers praised the nail technicians for their skills and attention to detail. They mentioned that their nails were executed exactly as they asked and that the edges looked great.
2. Range of services: Luxi Nails & Spa offers a variety of services, such as dip powder, acrylic sets, and manicures. Customers appreciated the availability of different options and styles.
3. Appointment scheduling: The ability to schedule appointments online was mentioned as a positive aspect by one customer. This feature allows for easy and convenient bookings.
4. Friendly staff: Some customers mentioned the kindness and friendliness of the staff. They felt well attended to and received great customer service.
5. Dip powder selection: One comment mentioned that Luxi Nails & Spa could use more dip colors to choose from. However, the fact that they offer dip powder as an option can be seen as a strength for customers who prefer this type of nail treatment.
Weaknesses:
1. High prices: A few customers mentioned that Luxi Nails & Spa was a bit pricey, especially when getting nails with designs. One customer stated that a total of $195 for two manicures and two pedicures seemed absurd, even with a "10%" discount. This indicates that the salon may not be suitable for those on a budget.
2. Inconsistent quality: There were mixed reviews regarding the quality of service and the final results. Some customers were satisfied with the outcome of their nails, while others expressed disappointment. Complaints included nails being bumpy, chunky, uneven, and crooked. One customer mentioned that their nails didn't match their dress for an important event.
3. Roughness during pedicures: One customer complained about the roughness of the technicians during their pedicure. They felt uncomfortable and had to request the technician to be gentler.
4. Rushed and uncomfortable experience: Another comment mentioned that the salon had a rushed atmosphere and made them feel uncomfortable. The customer felt that the technicians rushed through the services and displayed irritability.
5. Pricing confusion: One customer described an issue with the pricing, stating that the amount quoted before the service was different from the final bill. This lack of transparency could leave customers feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
In summary, Luxi Nails & Spa has strengths in skilled technicians, a range of services, appointment scheduling, friendly staff, and offering dip powder options. However, they face weaknesses in terms of high prices, inconsistent quality, roughness during pedicures, rushed experiences, and issues with pricing transparency.
Best TL Reviews
Micheal was great. I'm extremely particular about my nails and get dip every 5 weeks. Sometimes I do a straight color other times I'll do designs. I showed Michael a picture and he executed it exactly as I asked. My dip was not too thick and all the edges look great. I also like that they have a card at each chair showing the different shapes such as square versus ballerina that way there is no question between you and the tech as to what shape you want. They could use more dip colors to choose from.
A little pricey but that’s expected when getting nails with designs. Loved my nails. Kim did an amazing job and was such a sweetheart. 10/10 recommend.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!
We went in (3 of us) for 2 full sets, 1 dip with added length, and 3 pedicures.
Starting with our pedicures. The guys were extremely rough, to the point I almost point blank asked him to let go of my toe. My friend will have to use a pumice stone at home, because he barely softened her feet.
Then the manicures. AWFUL. My friend and I got dip. They’re the bumpiest, chunkiest, ugliest nails I have ever seen.
My daughters turned out decent. She had the older female that works there. So I guess if you do decide to give them a try. Request her only. $195 seems absurd for 2 manicures & 2 pedicures. After their “10%” discount. Especially when such low quality. Their board does not reflect the pricing the lady just types randomly into the calculator, vs using the REGISTER THAT ACCURATELY ADDS UP SERVICES.
They just rushed the entire time, and made us feel very uncomfortable with the obvious grunts and irritating energy they put off.
I don’t even write reviews nor do I ever write bad reviews but this isn’t it. Let’s just start with how terrible the service was. I wanted the ombré orange short squared nails. The old man who did my nails either had no idea what he was doing or he was rushing to get in a break or both because I CLEARLY showed him the color I wanted for my fingernails to match my bridesmaid dress (and my best friend was right there when I showed him my bridesmaid dress and the example of how I wanted my nails to be done) which was like burnt orange and I wanted it ombré and I told him that and he told me okay that’s twenty more and I said ok after he finished my feet he started on my nails and I told him again I wanted ombré and he acted as if I never said that and that I said I wanted the same fingernails as my toe and then I told him no I said I wanted plain for my toes and ombré with that color of my toes for my fingernails and he said okay then he started acting funny asking did I have enough money and he made me pay BEFORE he started mind you no one else had to do that. So he starts and he did it the wrong color and I told him that’s not the right color and I showed him again what color I wanted and he said that I can’t get that ombré it’s either pink or brown and then another customer chipped and saying another worker there did that color and the worker and the guy was talking I guess explaining how to do it and I guess he couldn’t start over so I had to let him do the pink color but he added red at the tips. The entire time the guy acted as if he wanted to hurry up and finish and to add on he was a bit agressive I have a cut on my finger. I’m going to end it here and just say the Asian old guy with thin hair and a gold black watch wasn’t great when it came to the service. The nails are a-ok color but some are cricked and a bit a different size if you look in person. It doesn’t match my dress for my mom's wedding and I’m disappointed. Whatever you do not go to that guy, he didn't even paint my toes right. I’m new here and I barley get my nails done but if you are going to do somebody nails don’t rush nor have an attitude about it. Honestly I think he pick and chose who he wants to be nice to because he was nicer to the lady before him and she paid AFTER he was done. The pink with white tips was the example I gave him and he said that he could do it.
i never got the man that did themselves name but he did amazing!! i love my nails and i will be coming right back!
First time in a while that I have had my nails done. I got the dip powder an I love it!
2nd visit here and everyone that works here has been incredibly kind and fast to attend to me.
I like that you can schedule appointments online.
My usual is just acrylic sets and fills with a solid color, and they do great work with this of course but I’ve also seen some other customers getting some really fun styles and colors.
My first experience with this nail place was amazing so I came back for a second time. I got my nails and toes done. When we got to my nail the guy I had cut me while demonstrating to another nail Tec how to do acrylic because they were short staffed. In the process of him showing how to do my mail he cuts my skin in the process because he was working to fast, also the acrylic was uneven and I had to keep having him fix it and he seemed to get upset because then he tells me I can’t do your nails luckily someone came in to take over also when I got sated on my nails he stated a discount and that it was going to be $65 for the whole total but when it came to paying he charged me $100 my thin is don’t tell me a price then change it when it’s time to pay and also customer service is important don’t rush your work people spend there hard earned money there. I will NOT be returning so sad they First Lady wasn’t there to do my nails or I’d be going back and my nails are also two different lengths
