Quick Facts About Nails For You
Nails For You salon has several strengths that have been highlighted in the comments. First, customers praise the talented nail technicians, Don and Snow, who are highly skilled at nail design and can create custom designs by hand. Customers appreciate their attention to detail and ability to fix any issues that may arise with the nails. Additionally, the salon is known for its reasonable pricing compared to other salons in the area.
Another strength of Nails For You is the excellent customer service provided by the staff. Customers mention feeling at home and welcomed in the salon. They also appreciate that the staff takes the time to interact with them and genuinely care about their satisfaction with the services provided.
The salon has also received positive feedback for their ability to accommodate special needs clients. One customer mentions that a staff member, Krista, has been incredibly patient and understanding while doing the nails of a client who has had a stroke and has limited mobility in their hand.
Furthermore, Nails For You is praised for the long-standing relationships they have built with their customers. Several individuals mention being loyal customers for many years and being consistently pleased with the work done on their nails. This indicates that the salon has a good reputation and a strong base of satisfied customers.
However, not all comments speak positively about Nails For You. One customer mentions that their gel manicure only lasted four days before chipping, despite expecting it to last for at least three weeks. Another customer had a disappointing first experience, with the manicure being rushed and the gel not lasting a week. Additionally, they mention that the lack of cuticle care resulted in bleeding. Furthermore, a pedicure resulted in an infection in one customer's toe, leading them to seek medical treatment.
Some comments also express dissatisfaction with the salon's management and some of the nail technicians. One customer mentions feeling rushed during their appointment due to the salon being short-staffed. They expected the salon to prioritize the customers who were already there before accommodating new walk-ins. Another customer had issues with communication and understanding with a technician named Nina. They felt that their requests were not listened to, and the technician seemed more focused on speaking to coworkers in another language. This led to them not receiving the desired nail design and ultimately deciding not to return to the salon.
Overall, Nails For You has strengths in terms of skilled technicians, reasonable pricing, excellent customer service, and accommodating special needs clients. However, there are weaknesses in terms of product durability, rushed appointments, and issues with communication and understanding between some technicians and customers. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to maintain a positive reputation and retain customers.
Best TL Reviews
I have been using Don and Snow as my go to for nails for years!!! I love them and the work that they do. They both are very talented with nail design and do it all by hand. I have been using them since way back when air brushing nails was all the rage. I have never been disappointed leaving there and while I have seen a few reviews about pricing, think of the time and materials it takes to do nails. They are still one of the few reasonably priced salons around. Also, saw reviews complaint about mail designs. So many of these designs people grab from the internet are manufactured nails from a machine. I can go in and if I have a problem or don’t like my color or design, Don and Snow always fix it. I have broken a nail and gone in and they fix it for free and many other places charge $5-$7 dollars to fix a nail. Also, I have a lady I take care of that has had a stroke and Krista has been doing her nails when I take her in. This is challenging because her right arm and hand are paralyzed. She is so very patient with her and doesn’t make her feel handicapped for the time we are there. I would highly recommend this salon but I would also recommend making an appointment and letting Don know when you call whether or not you want something more elaborate that just polish. And know where the pictures you take are coming from, are the nails you are looking at manufactured? And also ask yourself what should the owner do, eat the cost of inflation on materials and products to keep his cost down? He is trying to make a living!!! If you want a place that will make you feel like home, this is it. I have been to the other salons in Elkton and let me tell you, rude, unfriendly and higher prices. My mother, myself and both of my daughters would never use anyone else.
Pedicure was good. Me and my husband loved the service and enjoyed our time together however nail polish on my hands started chipping off in literally 4 days. It was gel manicure and I expected it to last for atleast 3 weeks.
Extremely disappointed in my first experience here. The manicure was rushed and the gel didn’t even last a week. No oil was used for my cuticles, so I was bleeding on a few of my fingers. The pedicure resulted in an infection in my toe causing me to seek treatment from a doctor.
When I asked why they were rushing, I was told they were short staffed and had other people waiting. I completely understand being short staffed and I was very patient. However, you should take care of the people there first and then worry about the new people walking in. Just be careful of the places you go and do your research!!
I have used Nails For You in Elkton, Md for a very long time. I have always been very pleased with the work they have done on my nails. Don and Snow are gems.
I’ve been going here for over 6 years. The owners are wonderful and always have creative designs. They truly care if you are pleased with any service provided. All the staff is friendly and interact with you. Go here to have your nails or waxing done, you won’t be disappointed!
Nails turned out beautiful but cost me $65 and it was not what I had originally wanted them to look like. The people don't listen to you very well and get agitated fast if they can't understand you. My nails we're done by Nina, she's very nice and although I wish she talked less to co workers in another language and focused more on my nails getting done, she was very polite. However, I do not recommend this place if you want writing on your nails or if you're looking to spend $50 or less. Personally, I appreciate her service but I won't be returning to this mail salon. (Writing on my nails was done in black sharpie)...
Love going here to get my nails done! I have gone to other places but always come back to Don, he is the only one that does them the way I like!
This was my second time at this salon as I am new to the areas. Young lady that did my pedicure was great. I waited an extra 30 for Dom to do my nails because he was the only one that could do the designs. My nail Design did not look like the picture because my nails were “too short”. When it was time to get the design on my toes, Dom stated I needed to get just a line on the big toe as it had gotten too busy to do a design. When I said ok, just add a like to the other toes as well, I was told I would have to wait for someone to get the other toes done. I was instructed to come back a weekday if I wanted designs. He spoke as if I was not a paying customer. I have been getting my nails done since i was a teenager. Never have I ever heard such nonsense. I will definitely not be returning to this salon
