Quick Facts About Maki&Co

Maki&Co is a Japanese restaurant located in the SW18/Wimbledon area. Based on the comments provided, it is clear that the strengths of Maki&Co include the delicious food, beautiful presentation, welcoming staff, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices, and use of fresh ingredients. These positive aspects contribute to the overall positive dining experience at Maki&Co.
One of the main strengths of Maki&Co is the quality of the food. Multiple comments mention that the rolls and sashimi are delicious and have amazing taste. Visitors particularly enjoy the fried crab roll, which indicates that Maki&Co offers a variety of tasty menu options.
The presentation of the food at Maki&Co is another strength mentioned in the comments. Customers appreciate the beautifully decorated plates, which adds to the overall dining experience. The artistic presentation creates an insta-style atmosphere and makes the food appear like a form of art.
The welcoming staff and comfortable atmosphere are also strengths of Maki&Co. The commenters mention that the people working at Maki&Co are friendly and make customers feel welcome. The cozy restaurant with a few tables and bench seats contributes to a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. This creates a positive dining environment and enhances the overall experience.
Reasonable prices are another strength of Maki&Co, according to the comments. Customers mention that the prices are nice for the portion sizes, with some even mentioning that they took home half of their meal due to the large portions. This indicates that Maki&Co offers good value for money and can accommodate different appetites.
The use of fresh ingredients is also highlighted as a strength of Maki&Co. Customers mention that the ingredients are of high quality and the staff never compromises on the freshness of the food. This is important in a sushi restaurant, as the quality of the ingredients greatly affects the overall taste of the dishes.
Although the strengths of Maki&Co are evident from the comments, there are some potential weaknesses that can be inferred. One potential weakness is the limited seating capacity. One comment mentions that the restaurant only has 8 seats split across two tables, as well as a few bench seats. This limited seating may make it difficult to secure a table during peak dining hours or for larger groups.
Another potential weakness may be the perception that the prices are slightly expensive compared to other sushi places like Wasabi. One comment notes that the price might seem a bit expensive, which suggests that some customers may find the prices to be higher than their expectations. This could deter potential customers who prioritize affordability over other factors.
In conclusion, Maki&Co has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. These strengths include delicious food, beautiful presentation, welcoming staff, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices, and use of fresh ingredients. With its unique offerings and focus on quality, Maki&Co appears to be a popular choice for sushi in the SW18/Wimbledon area. However, potential weaknesses such as limited seating and perceived higher prices compared to other options should be taken into consideration when evaluating the overall dining experience at Maki&Co.

I visited maki&co today with my husband.

Every menus are so delicious. Awesome ~~
Beautiful decorated plate. I think best of sushi around sw18 to Wimbledon area.
I should visit here again.
My wife and I took our 3 boys for a dine-in experience to Maki & Co for the first time this evening. Cosy restaurant with just 8 seats split across two table, and a handful of bench seats. Nice, clean decor though, but this place is all about the food. Absolutely fantastic, and beautifully presented, though with none of the pretentious atmosphere that one might expect to see from a place where the food looks (and tastes) this good. Blown away, we will be back!
Food and restaurant the same owners and chefs as the legendary Hashi in Rayners Park. Exquisite food, optics and value for your money. Must go!
Huge portions. Price is very nice for THIS size sushi ???? We ate half and the rest took home. Will be back ❤ One of the best sushi so far. Home made teriyaki sauce - one love ????❤
It is absolutely amazing and wonderful quality of ingredients. People are so welcoming and the venue is very clean and insta-style. The price might be seemed a bit expensive compared to something like wasabi, but when you eat it, you would know why. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff never cheat on foods. Try it and you’d never be able to stop coming here. I tried Earlsfield roll, crunchy roll and tempura udon. The Earlsfield roll contains silver cod and it disappears when you put it on your mouth.
