Additionally, another comment highlighted the professionalism of a barber named Stephanie, suggesting that the staff at Marlo's Barbershop is well-trained and able to provide quality service.
The promptness of service is another strength mentioned in the comments. A customer who had a fade and line up of their undercut mentioned being in and out within 10 to 15 minutes. This indicates that Marlo's Barbershop values efficiency and prioritizes customers' time, making it a convenient option for those in a hurry.

Creating a welcoming and friendly environment can enhance the overall experience for both children and adults, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Now, turning to the weaknesses, one recurring issue is the inconsistency of the barbers' skills, specifically in beard trimming and line-ups. Several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the execution of their requested styles. This indicates a lack of expertise in these particular areas, leading to customers' dissatisfaction.
Another prevalent weakness mentioned is the extended waiting times. One customer reported waiting for over 4 hours despite having made an appointment. This suggests a lack of effective time management and organization within the barbershop. The inability to adhere to scheduled appointment times can negatively impact the customer experience and potentially deter customers from returning.
Furthermore, there were multiple complaints regarding the payment system and pricing. One customer mentioned being charged extra for using a debit card, which could be seen as an inconvenience for customers who prefer cashless transactions. Additionally, another customer felt overcharged for a simple beard trim. Issues with pricing can lead to customer dissatisfaction and a perception of unfairness.
In terms of the overall experience, there are mixed reviews. Some customers mentioned having positive and satisfactory experiences, with their expectations met and an overall chill atmosphere. However, other customers reported negative experiences, such as receiving haircuts they did not request, rushed service, and a lack of attention to detail. Consistency in the customer experience is crucial for building a strong reputation and customer base.

The strengths include impressing customers on multiple occasions, catering to customers with children's haircut needs, providing prompt service, and fostering a positive atmosphere. Horrible skills! The barber does not know how to blend in and line up my beard correctly. Wanted a beard shape up to my natural line but he brought it down. Giving 2 stars because my comb over haircut was decent. I showed the barber a specific picture to give him an idea to how to get it done. He still did not execute it properly
Second time coming to Marlo’s barbershop, I been impressed both times. Being a mother with boys it’s hard for me to find good barber.
Thank you so much and I’ll definitely be back soon
This is the worst experience I ever had. The cut was terrible and the wait was over 4 hours. Keep in mind, I had an appointment but the time that was promised was never given. It's really a shame. I specifically sought out a black barber shop that can handle African hair but still my hair was ruined and the line up was botched up. The line up wasn't even a line up, it was paint that got washed off easily. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
Stephanie's always professional and gives me exactly what I ask for!
I asked Tiffany for a temp fade to enhance my wave pattern. For some reason she gave me a very low cut all over. When I asked if she could then fade the sides and that I didn’t intend for her to cut against the grain to cut my waves completely out. She decided to cut my hair completely bald. I guess she just gave me whatever haircut she wanted to see me with. She was 20 minutes late on the appointment, chair still had hair on it from the last customer, and she charged 3 dollars extra for the convenience of using a debit card. Not worth the $28 for a haircut I didn’t ask for without even a razor line.
I went in for a simple fade and line up of my undercut. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no wait. I think I was in and out somewhere around 10mins-15mins. The dude that worked on my undercut didn't talk much at all but neither do I so it was a'ight. It was an overall chill experience and although the aftershave stung, my skin was grateful later on!
Went in on a Sunday for a quick beard trim. No appt.
I will give this place props for being open on a Sunday unlike many others. But, in my experience I felt a little over charged.
I’m bald and have a thicker beard., my expectations aren’t high.
But no straight razor, and I was in and out of the chair in 10 minutes, only to be charged 20$!
Not dissing the line, but if I’m paying for a beard lining, I do expect to have better service/treatment than Kenny’s barber school. Dude (drew) rushed to get his next customer. Was not a fan. I probably waited in the lobby area longer than I did in the actual chair
Took me 20$ to realize I was probably not coming back here.
Jason Thomas has been my barber and I wouldn't trade him or the good atmosphere at Marlos. always get me right and kids like coming here
