Quick Facts About Matuz Barbershop

Matuz Barbershop has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, many customers praised the quality of the haircuts they received, describing them as amazing and one of the best they have ever had. This indicates that the barbers at Matuz Barbershop have a high level of skill and expertise in their craft. Moreover, customers appreciated the prompt service they received, with one person mentioning that they were attended to immediately and were out of the door within 45 minutes. This efficiency is a valuable asset to have, especially in a busy barbershop where customers often have limited time.
Another strength of Matuz Barbershop is the reasonable pricing. Multiple customers commented that the prices were affordable, making it an attractive option for people in the area. This affordability may contribute to customer loyalty and attract new customers who are looking for a high-quality haircut at a reasonable cost.
The long-standing reputation and customer loyalty are additional strengths of Matuz Barbershop. One person mentioned being a customer for over 4 and a half years and never having a bad experience. This indicates that the barbershop has built trust and loyalty among its clientele, which is a significant achievement. Additionally, another customer stated that they have been with the barbershop for over 25 years, highlighting the long-standing tradition and reliability of the establishment.
The ability to cater to diverse linguistic needs is another strength mentioned by customers. Matuz Barbershop has employees who speak both English and Spanish fluently, with Spanish being primarily spoken. This indicates that the barbershop can serve a wider range of customers who may feel more comfortable communicating in Spanish.
While Matuz Barbershop has several strengths, there are also a few weaknesses worth mentioning. One customer expressed frustration that the barbershop only accepted cash and did not have a card payment option. This made it difficult for customers to tip and could potentially create inconvenience for those who prefer to use cards instead of cash. This limitation in payment options may need to be addressed to enhance customer satisfaction.
Another weakness highlighted by a customer was the issue of favoritism. The customer claimed that new customers were not given priority, and those who were regulars or known to the barbers were served first, despite signing in earlier. This perception of favoritism can create negative experiences for new customers and may deter them from returning in the future. Improved customer service and fairer treatment of all customers, regardless of their familiarity with the barbers, could address this weakness.
In conclusion, Matuz Barbershop has numerous strengths including the high-quality haircuts, prompt service, affordable pricing, long-standing reputation, and the ability to cater to diverse linguistic needs. However, there are also areas that could be improved, such as the limited payment options and the perception of favoritism. By addressing these weaknesses, Matuz Barbershop can further enhance its strengths and continue to provide excellent services to its customers.

Best TL Reviews

I visited a few days ago and received an amazing haircut! It was my first time visiting and was attended immediately and was out the door within 45 minutes of entering. Not to mention that the prices were also very reasonable. The haircut was one of the best that I have ever gotten so I highly recommend anyone in the area to go there. Honestly, even a small commute is worth it if you really care about the quality of the haircut you receive!
I would totally gives this place a better rating but they don't accept card making it harder to want to tip.
I usually tip aroud 5$ becase i get simple cuts but the atm here charges you almost 5$. You can only pull in increments of 10.
I feel bad not i'm not trying to tip 50% for a haircut.
If i knew earlier i would bring cash but there's no way of knowing before untill now.
Been a customer for over 4 and a half years and never had a bad haircut in this place. Great service, very friendly and fast on point service. I have straight thick hair and it's very difficult to handle. Tried 4 different places before settling down with this one. Esther (owner) is a great hairdresser and manage the barbershop very well, always improving in the place looks and customer service. I dont think I would change this place for anything
Can’t even say I had a first good experience, I called ahead of time to get a haircut and asked if this place was open and they said yes well as soon as I got out of work I came in and there two barbers one was busy the other on her phone doing nothing. They didn’t even bother to get up nothing, signs said open but no type of customer service, y’all should change to the hours to when it’s convenient. Don’t recommend ladies and gentlemen
I've been taking my kids and husband here for the last five years. We just happens to run into this little gem by accident, a accident I'm rather happy we did. It's a small cozy barbershop with a constant flow of clientele but with the mom and pop feel, where all of the employees know your name and what you prefer. Most of the employees speak both English and Spanish fluently but Spanish is primarily the language spoken. Their prices are very responsible ranging from $11 for a regular hair cut and $14 for a skin fade. They take walk-ins and there's never more then a 10 minute wait even on their busiest days.
Been with Contreras "now Matuz" Barbershop for over 25years now. And it was my grandfather who introduced me to them and he had already been a customer/friend of there's for years before me. ???????????? Excellent!!!
I went in there as a new customer. Signed in. A few guys got in there after me and didn't sign in. But because barbers knew them, they called them first. I get it. Favoritism. You know your customers, but you let new ones from coming in after their first time. I ended up leaving. Screw this place.
I’ve been getting my mop trimmed here for years. Ester (the owner) is a very nice person who does a fantastic job! The remodel looks great!
