I am not one to write reviews unless it was really exceptional or really poor. I have been to nail salons all across the world and Mily Nails is by far the worst one I have ever been to. My friend and I originally went in for Mani/Pedis but after seeing the filthy techniques used here I shortened it to just a pedicure. The nail clippers, cuticle clippers and other equipment IS NOT sterilized between clients! In fact the man who did my nails used the tools on my friend first, rinsed them under cool water for two seconds and then used them on me! I have never seen such horrible practices in any nail salon in my life! Not only that, the nail files and pumice stones also are used between clients and all tools are kept in a drawer and not in separate containers to help keep them sanitary. I am shocked they are still in business with these unsanitary practices. Furthermore, prices are not posted anywhere and I made the mistake of not asking prior to the treatment. A $30 pedicure that lasts 10 minutes and likely will give you a nail infection is not worth it at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
My boyfriend & I got our toes done here, we was so excited to go get our toes done & it literally lasted a whole 10 minutes like trimmed the nails, rubbed for like 2 mins & painted them & was done. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. It was so disappointing I didn’t even get my nails done we just paid and left. I don’t recommend this place at all .
Guy working was so rude. When i walked in i asked how long was the wait. He said if i want to know how long i can come back tomorrow ????. I would have only gave it one star but the lady working was nice and apologized for the rude guy. Hoping he was just having a bad day
I am happy for all the people who are saying they would never go back as it will lessen my wait time and I will definitely go back, and yes even wait! The woman who does my nails is wonderful, remembered me after only one visit and even joked with my daughter about my adventurous selection in nail color. My first dip lasted 6 weeks and the one I currently have is going on eight. I have never left with anything other than spectacular nails... and the choices they offer are amazing. Love this place!!!!
I have been here a few times since I moved to Columbia because it’s right up the street from my house… there is always only one or two people that work. Today I went in… as soon as I walked in the man immediately informed me that they close at 8… it was 6:55, so ok… it’s an hour until you close, it does not say an hour before you stop talking clients. He never even asked me what service I was looking to get! I would have settled for a toe nail polish today… but I was never asked. Highly unprofessional.
They do an amazing pedicure and eye brows. I don’t get my nails done however have friends that have gotten their nails done here and they turn out fabulous. Highly recommended great atmosphere. Thanks for the warm welcome and relaxing environment.
I’ve been getting acrylic nails done here for the past 6 months and they always knock it out of the park! I always get compliments on them, I’ve never had one break (which is amazing because I’m a bartender and server), and they have lots of unique color choices. There’s rarely a wait which is a plus. They’re always friendly during the appt.
Only “negative” thing I could say is that they don’t have prices listed anywhere so the cost does vary sometimes and it can get a little pricey (Which doesn’t necessarily bother me, I always plan for the expense + a 20% tip before going in..which I feel like everyone should do anyways).
I’m not one to talk bad about businesses but I left this place feeling horrible. I was in need of a fill bad and after waiting 30 minutes it was my turn. Guy was nice at first but as he started my nails a group of college girls came in and He quickly changed. He was not interested in anything I said. He wouldn’t look at me, answer my questions and barely did anything. He was been rough and was cutting me because he wasn’t paying attention. I left with my nails looking worse then when I went in there. Within two days my nails were falling off and the ones that were on weren’t even attached to my nail so it would snag or get caught on everything. I was shocked and speechless but I paid for the worse service I have ever received..
