Issues related to inconsistent quality, rude behavior, and unprofessionalism heavily impact the customer experience, which could ultimately deter potential clients from visiting the salon again.
To improve, the salon should focus on addressing the quality control of their nail services by ensuring proper training for their technicians and using high-quality products. Additionally, they should prioritize professionalism and customer service, training their employees to treat customers with respect and to handle difficult situations calmly and appropriately. Addressing the language barrier through language training programs or hiring bilingual staff could also enhance the overall customer experience. Improvement in these areas would increase customer satisfaction and potentially improve the salon's reputation.

Had a regular gel mani/pedi today. The place was clean and spacious. My nail tech (Daniel) was meticulous but however attentive he was does not make up for the technique and/or quality of the product used. Not even within 24 hrs and the gel mani already chipping. It was a waste of time and money because he took close to 2 hrs to complete the service.
They get 3 stars because I go to them for the second time to do my nails and again shape is completely off, nails are fat and bulky and bubbles in the polish! I tell them to fix it and still the same! Fist time this happen I went somewhere else for them to fix it! I only have them a second chance because I love the way they do my toes, there amazing doing pedis, but never again nails horrible and both times where different people and both didn’t know how to shape nails
I love it here!! All the ladies working there are so sweet and great at doing my nails! The owner is really patient. I’ve seen her have to deal with some difficult clients before and she handles everything with grace.
Maria who gives the massages is the besssttttt! The pedicure menu is awesome. When I need a little extra self care I just scroll all the way to the bottom and pick that one! Hahahaha.
This place is clean, beautiful, friendly, and they have a talented staff!
I have never been treated so terribly in my life!! I have gone to this salon several times in the past and it’s always hit or miss if they will do a good job but today was the worst experience I’ve ever had at ANY establishment. From the minute my friend and I walked in for our appointment (which I booked 24 hours in advance) the two men in the front were very rude and seemed angry that we we’re there. It was not even 5:30 pm and they did not close until 8, we had an appointment, they weren’t busy and no one else was waiting to get their nails done. They were arguing back and forth and the one who I believe is the owner held his hands in his head and started shaking his head angrily.. I asked if we still have our appointment in the book then they finally told us to pick a color and rushed us to the pedicure chair. My friend had a woman do her nails she was kind and did a nice job. Mundo did my nails he was extremely rude and disrespectful. When he asked if I like my nails cut or filed I said filed please and he asked me again if id like them cut and I said if he needs to cut them a little he can but I would rather them just filed.. then he shouted at me “CUT OR FILED?” With a horrible attitude. He was very dismissive and rude the entire pedicure and coughed on me several times without even trying to turn away. When it came time for my manicure I asked for the color powder I wanted and he ignored me grabbed the color then slammed it down in front of me. During my nails he was still very rude slapping my hands instead of asking me to put them In the gel dryer and at one point leaned back and closed his eyes as if he was napping. He was also mumbling to himself oddly throughout the entire appointment and it made me very uncomfortable. My nails turned out terrible he cut them very short and they look like big clumpy nubs. I am not picky I wanted just a basic power dip manicure. I decided before I even saw my nails I would not be tipping him because I’ve never received such horrible service In my life( which I have never done before). I am in the service industry and always tip very well (even if I don’t like my nails) but Mundo was just so rude and nasty to me the entire appointment. When it came time to pay I paid the bill without complaint although I hated my nails and felt very disrespected. He looked at the receipt and got angry and demanded I tip him. When I explained I was very unhappy with how he treated me he started yelling at me in front of everyone shoving his hand in my face ( I am pregnant by the way which he could clearly see) and trying to intimidate me and AGAIN demanding that I have to tip him. He continued on his rant trying to force me to tip him shoving his hands in my face. I refused and finally just left. I wasn’t going to leave a review because I never leave bad reviews but I’m honestly so angry. I see others have left reviews about him and cannot believe he still has a job.
Doesn’t even deserve a star but it’s the only way I can warn you all! Don’t come here — run!!! Rude rude RUDE! I have been getting my nails done for years at a different place that is an hour away but recently moved to the Newburgh area and checked this place out. The worst! They don’t know anything about nails, tried telling me I had a acrylic, not gel, and tried to get me to do acrylic despite explaining to them how you can tell it’s gel and not acrylic. How are you a nail tech and can’t tell the difference? The lady barely spoke English and gave me an attitude because she couldn’t understand me when I specifically repeated myself and reworded myself to communicate with her better. Poor customer service.
Okay for emergencies, only emergencies , but if you need a real pedi, skip this place. They charge alot to just rub your nails a couple times with a buffer. I always walk away disappointed with the pedi. I had to actually grab the tool and clean under my own nails. Also they treat the Spanish employees like they are invisible.
Nice , i see that they got new chairs and all i happy for them making look real nice and neat.I like fancy nails they isn't to high love u guys happy New year 2023 wish your all the best.
While this was only my second time in Hany Nails I can assure you that I will not be returning after the behavior I witnessed tonight! A male nail tech was yelling at a young pregnant woman that she HAD to leave a tip. He was waving his hands in her face in an attempt to intimidate her into tipping him. I do not know what proceeded this argument but I do know that a tip is not mandatory, it’s is based on how the service was and clearly this woman was not pleased with her treatment prior to checking out. This was very scary and uncomfortable to see. This man clearly has anger issues and should not be in a profession that is mostly female clientele, we go to a nail spa for that special treatment, not to be yelled at and intimidated .
