Went right around opening time and got my haircut immediately. Super fast service and excellent haircut overall. Will definitely be returning. Note on payment: they accept cash and credit, but credit has a $2 fee added on.
Been several times. Not all stylists here know how to cut curly hair. On one occasion stylist botched haircut several times and had audacity to complain it was taking too long. This was after I had confirmed a 5:40 appointment and was not seated until closer to 6:30. Stylist then complained about me to next customer while I was still there. The other decent experiences I’ve had aren’t enough to keep me coming back.
I'm a regular here. I don't even remember how many years ago I started using Tyson's Barber. All the ladies there are great and al of them cut my hair.

I got my worst haircut here. She’s smiling at the end saying your hair is curly, so couldn’t do anything.. Never coming back

Made the mistake of going to a different shop once during covid, never again..
My friend asked for a trim and he Shaved his head head on purpose????. And asked him if he was going to the military after.
HEY EVERYONE! THEY ARE OPEN FOR APPOINTMENTS BY PHONE DURING COVID.
The owner did NOT take any government assistance. She is working very hard to get back on her feet while running the shop by herself.
The service was great. I even got a shampoo and rinse after my cut and a hot towel w/ aftershave. I will be back, and I definitely hope this little barber shop stays afloat!
