Quick Facts About Montpellier Cafe

Montpellier Cafe place has received mostly positive comments, with customers praising the staff, cleanliness, quality of food, and overall experience. However, there are a few areas of improvement that can be identified based on the feedback provided.
Starting with the strengths, many customers mentioned the friendly and amazing staff at Montpellier Cafe place. This is a significant strength as friendly staff can greatly enhance the overall dining experience and create a positive atmosphere. Additionally, the cleanliness of the cafe was mentioned as a positive aspect, which is crucial for creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for customers. Lastly, the quality of food was consistently praised, with customers mentioning how tasty and enjoyable their breakfast or meals were. This indicates that the cafe uses high-quality ingredients and prepares dishes that are delicious.
In terms of weaknesses, one customer mentioned that their experience was ruined by a group of loud people who talked over each other, making it difficult for them to hear the person seated next to them. This feedback suggests that the cafe should improve its noise management, possibly by implementing noise-blocking measures or designating certain areas for groups to maintain a quieter atmosphere. Additionally, the same customer mentioned that a dachshund was brought into the cafe and sat on its owner's lap at the table. While some customers may not mind this, it is important for the cafe to establish clear rules regarding pets and ensure that they do not disrupt the dining experience for other customers.
Another weakness pointed out by a customer is the inconsistent quality of the food. They mentioned that some items were undercooked or overcooked, such as the sausages, mushrooms, eggs, bacon, and French toast. Additionally, the customer noted that the advertised homemade baked beans were actually tinned. These issues indicate a lack of consistency in the preparation and quality control of dishes. The cafe should address these concerns by ensuring that all food items are cooked properly and meet the advertised standards.
Another area that needs improvement is the service. Although most customers praised the service, one customer stated that their server was miserable and unhelpful. They also mentioned that the server did not address their concerns or provide a satisfactory response when they contacted the restaurant manager/owner later. This indicates a lack of customer service and responsiveness, which can greatly impact the overall experience. The cafe should focus on training its staff to be attentive, friendly, and responsive to customer concerns.
Some customers mentioned that the prices for coffee, hot chocolate, and non-alcoholic beverages were overpriced. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the pricing of these simple items left a bittersweet feeling. This feedback suggests that the cafe should review and potentially adjust its pricing strategy for these beverages to better align with customers' expectations.
Overall, Montpellier Cafe place has several strengths, including friendly staff, cleanliness, quality food, and a generally positive experience. However, there are areas that require improvement, such as noise management, consistency in food quality, responsiveness of staff, and pricing of certain items. By addressing these weaknesses, the cafe can further enhance customer satisfaction and reputation.

Had a lovely breakfast last week and found the staff friendly, the service good and a very nice breakfast.
amazing staff, very friendly , very clean , food is amazing, well worth the visit
As always the food and service was excellent. The experience was ruined by a group of people who were very loud and talked over each other, making it difficult to hear the porson sat next to me. They slso bought there dachshund in wet ith them and sat it on there lap at the table.
Overall food and services 4/5*
Experience and ampionce 2*
Had an incredibly tasty, thoroughly enjoyable breakfast here. The coffee was a dream, the portion sizes were perfect and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients used. The lady who served us was lovely as well. For the price I think this was by some way the best breakfast I’ve had! Can’t recommend highly enough!!!
I came in here for an early dinner last Friday, quite by chance. I'm so glad I did. This place is what Cafe Rouge, Brasserie Blanc etc should aspire to be. Delicious food (I had the sauteed asparagus/duck egg, then rump steak, then Eton Mess) and delightful service. Prices unbelievably fair for such a prime location, the steak especially. Only caveat - if you're salt-sensitive maybe mention it when ordering. But overall highly recommended .
Service was pretty fast apart from that it was very poor! Me and my husband went here with a friend for breakfast a few weeks ago after seeing all the positive reviews on google and trip advisor. We ordered 2 English breakfasts and 1 french toast with bacon. The server was miserable and not helpful at all (even though we were the only people in there!). The food came out pretty quick but some of it was under cooked, the sausages were raw in the middle and so were the mushrooms.Although the eggs, bacon and french toast was overcooked and burnt. Also it advertised home made baked beans and when they were served they were definitely tinned! We had two pots of tea and the filter must have been loose or broken as it didn't stop the loose leaf coming through to the cup and the latte i had was very bitter and strong, i do like strong coffee but not when i order a latte and not when its very bitter. The last problem was the table we were given it was so small we had to put our drinks and teapot on a chair so there was enough room for three plates. We couldn't move as all the tables were the same inside very small tables with 4 chairs around them when they are only suitable for two people max. My friend did contact the restaurant manager/ owner to voice these problems before we left a bad review and after speaking on the phone with them he was told to email so he did but it was ignored and we have not heard back from them at all.
Overpriced menu for coffee, hot chocolate and other non alcoholic beverages. But they seem to be pretty popular for alcoholic drinks during their happy hour. There were lots of reservations during the happy hour. Kind staff though, quite accomodating and friendly. Just overpriced for simple things which was a bittersweet feeling given the staff was friendly.
Possibly one of the best meals ever. Great food, great service and real vfm. We were here yesterday evening and were so impressed we are now waiting for our breakfast this morning.
