Best TL Reviews
The wait can be long, and twice now I have been trimmed to bleeding point. I havent had any issues with the manicure, infact it's the only place I will have it done. They do an excellent job on manicures, always so clean and neat. .. but have had an issue 3x with the pedicure. They dont dry the toes long enough and they end up smudging. It is a very friendly place to be and I will continue to go there for ????
I LOVE TINA! She was so helpful and so focused on what she was doing! Never hurt me once!
October 29th refute of Kathy Tawney’s review:
The early afternoon of October 29th I was getting my nails dipped by Tina when Kathy, her granddaughter and another woman came in the door. While picking their colors, Kathy made sure to complain loudly that “every time she comes here, they overbook! They better not do it this time!” Which begs the question, if you have been unhappy with their services several times, why do you continue to make appointments? While they were picking colors, the completely empty pedicure stations were being prepped for them to be taken care of. In comes a couple of ladies who did not have an appointment and they asked Tina for pedicures. Immediately, Kathy cut Tina off and told these women “I have an appointment for several pedicures at 1 so you’ll have to wait.” It was clear the women did not like that but Tina swooped in and said if they could wait 15 minutes she would be able to get them into a pedicure chair. At this point, Peter and Tina already have the granddaughter in a chair and her pedicure has started while they prepped the other stations. It was abundantly clear Peter and Tina were prioritizing their appointment over the walk ins yet Kathy still complained. Loudly. The two walk in customers stood up and said they are leaving because they “are not going to sit there and listen to her (Kathy).” And they left. Tina was upset she lost customers. Reasonably so. Kathy continued to complain loudly after the women made it clear that she was a problem and made it known several times that her son was “in the hospital” as if that givers her the right to treat people horribly. It eventually came to a head when Tina tried to clear everything up by explaining that she was able to do their pedicures and help other customers too. Kathy continued her attack and continued to try to justify her horrible treatment by saying her son was in the hospital. At this point, I stepped in and told her that everyone has stuff going on but it is not ok to talk to people like that. Admittedly I said it far more aggressively. At that point, she decided she didn’t like being called out for being an awful human and Kathy and crew left.
I have been a customer of Tina and Peter’s since 2010. Their is some truth behind overbooking, it has happened. But Kathy wanted to take her bad day out on someone and Tina was it. No one asked me to write this. I just happened to see Kathy’s review and wanted to give the other side of the story. Peter and Tina are wonderful humans who speak English as their second language and sometimes make booking mistakes. Just be nice, or don’t make an appointment with them. It’s really that simple.
I went to have a dip and a pedicure. My appointment was at 9:30, they were late, never showed up until 9:40. When I sat at the chair , Tina started my nails, apply 4 tips. She was in such a hurry, she broke them off and had to glue them back on. Then she sent me to the pedicure chair. When the lady started my pedicure, I told her that he didn’t need to shorten the nails on my big toes because I had already cut them and didn’t want them any shorter. She still cut them down, way too short and the pedicure lasted like 15 mins. Then a guy came over to put Shellac on my toes. Before he did that, he was cleaning them up with the cuticle clippers and he cut the top of my left toe with the clippers, it was bleeding like crazy. He finishes the Shellac and tells me to go to chair one.my finger nails are so thick and look awful.
My big toes are so sore, because they were cut too short. The pedicure was awful. And they charged me $90 for a dip and and a 15 min pedicure. My big toes hurt terribly. Will NOT GO BACK.
WAY OVER PRICED! 2 fills with color and i was given a receipt for $90 but my card was charged $108! Jessica did a great job on my friend but the lady who started mine had really long sharp nails that dug into and cut up my fingers, then she had to ask one of the owners to finish because she didn't know how to do a chrome finish. The nail is NOT formed well, and they look like balls at the end of my fingers.
I will never go to this nail salon again. I booked an appointment for my granddaughters birthday and my daughter plus mine they over booked and treated my whole family horrible! I got my granddaughter out of the chair and daughter and said we are leaving. She was going to take 2 pedicures a head of our prebooked special day appointment.
This is the worst place I have ever encountered as far as nails go.. had my acrylic nails removed and after 2 weeks I am still bleeding. My nails crack and chip causing them to break in the quick. The worse experience I have and had many sets of nails.
Tina did my nails and I love them. So beautiful ????
Xmas style this time!!! Tina can do it all. Happy Holidays ????
