They were all so friendly and welcoming. The manicure desks were very clean. Nina did a wonderful job making sure that my nails were exactly how I wanted them and they turned out beautiful. I am in love with my nails and will definitely be back again!
I love K2 ! I’m so happy I found this place! I spent a few months trying out other places. When I finally ended up here it was everything I could ever ask for! The space is beautiful and very clean. The nail colors they have on hand are amazing, unlike anything I’ve seen at other places! Fashion colors that are certain to match any outfit! And of course there is Kim ! The owner, she is amazingly talented and extremely helpful and not to mention charming!
I have been coming here now like clock work for several months and I’m happy to say this is my spot!
Got my nails done here for my wedding - honestly the best nails I’ve ever had in my life. My girlfriend from LA got hers done with me and agreed. The owner really cares about people!
The nails I had put on were beautiful and meticulously done. 4 weeks later I went to have them removed this is where I had the issue. The lady was texting and acted irritated that I was there and told me it would take a long time to remove them. I said that was fine. Instead of soaking and wrapping them like I’ve seen others there do, my nails were pretty much just ripped off. My natural nails are really damaged. I shouldn’t have had to ask for my nails to be removed properly! It will take months for my nails to even look normal. One of them is split horizontally past the quick. I have had excellent service and care there in the past but with today’s treatment I won’t ever go back.
UPDATE:
I had a bad experience last weekend and Kim was nice enough to reach out to me and offer to fix them for free. That really meant a lot to me, so I gave them another chance and I’m very glad I did. My nails turned out just now I wanted and I can’t wait to return for a full. My tip is to book with Kim, she is very nice, gentle, and makes sure you get what you want! Thank you so much K2 Nail salon!!
Could’ve done better myself. There’s something wrong with every single nail. They’re all way shorter than I asked for and make my fingers look weird. I really don’t know why the lady decided to free hand the French tip instead of using a tool if she wasn’t capable of doing it well. All 10 of them have something wrong with the French tip, and most of them are bumpy in the acrylic. From the sides they look so unnatural and flat, I’ve never had nails that looked like that. I really had high hopes for this place after all the good reviews, but I’m pretty disappointed. If they reach out maybe I’ll give them another chance, but who knows.
Love, love, LOVE K2! Tony and Kim are the BEST and do such beautiful work. I’m a huge fan of their gel pedicures also. They feel so good on my tired feet and the color lasts for what seems forever. Highly recommend!
I got a manicure with gel polish and it looked amazing, and the manicurist was very nice. Unfortunately my polish started chipping after just a couple days. I couldn’t make it back in until 6 days after my original manicure and they were very happy to fix the chipped nails for free and very pleasant about it. I will definitely keep coming back! ☺️
I have been very disappointed with my last two visits here. When K2 first opened I had excellent service. The past two visits were for pedicures and were very rushed. Each visit finished in under 30 minutes. Unfortunately I have had the same male technician both times and the sad thing is I believe he is the owner. He did such a good job in the beginning. Today's visit was the last time for me. I was told while looking at the menu that they did not have time for anything other than a basic pedicure (as I was a walk in) but after cleaning the skin from around my cuticles he wiped the instrument on the top of my foot leaving the removed dead skin behind.Gross. Why would you do that? I really hope they remember that nail services are a luxury and not a necessity. I left feeling insulted not pampered.
