Got a refill and a pedi. Very clean, the staff is really nice, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. My toenails are great, my nails are good, but not perfect. I'm still happy with them.
Complete waste of time and money. Asked for square oval. Lady applied my tips. The guy came and asked what shape so I said it again. I don’t get my nails done often so I thought maybe that’s not a real shape lol so when he asked if I want it square or oval, I said “oval.” The man said “don’t say square if you want oval” ???? ok lol. He was so careless applying the dip. He didn’t ask if I liked it. He put the top coat and immediately stood up to chat with another customer. I just sat there waiting and after a while he turned and said “they’re dry now.” I paid and sat in the car thinking if I should go back and say something. Tbh I didn’t want that man to touch or do anything to my hands anymore so I left and went somewhere else.
Been coming to World Nails for pedicures, twice a month for about two years, & have been pleased w/the work, always done by one of the ladies.
Today, Sept. 3, 2022, my pedicure was done (well started) by the man, Mike? While polishing my toe nails, I pointed out he had not completely polished a nail. He replied, “it’s just the 1st coat girl, you have to wait”. He, then, spoke in another language, & got up. Then, the female tech working next to us scooted over, & continued polishing my toenails.
Another female nail tech asked if I liked the color now. I told her there wasn’t an issue w/the color as it was my color (I always bring my own polish). I only pointed out a nail was incomplete, & Mike began polishing nails on the other foot, so I figured he didn’t see it. HIS reaction to my pointing out his oversight was a huge turn-off.
When Mike returned f/m the back, he sat at a nail station (right in front of me), telling the customer, while laughing, “you know me! If the horse is dead, walk away”.
After paying for my services, there was no apology nor a thank you for coming in, which is okay because I WILL NOT RETURN…EVER!
I started going to this nail salon in September and I would go twice a week and i always tip. My first visit was done by the owners wife, at this particular visit it was pleasant however she worked so fast on my nails, she placed one of the nails crooked on my finger, her husband Mr. Mike came to apply the acrylic & paint my nails. I was ok
But I wasn’t totally pleased.
The next few visit were OK.
Recently I wanted to have French manicure with a design on my index fingers and was told by the wife “NO” they look good
Like they were. The husband Mike came and said “if you want design I’d do for you”
Then the wife grabbed my fingers and placed the design on them but had an attitude . Speaking in her language and by her body language I can tell she was upset as she was aggressively speaking toward her husband while he was training a student.
This most recent visit from yesterday was bad. I asked for pedicure and ombré nails and the nail tech was changed as soon as he begin on my feet to a new lady, then my nails were waiting to be done and Mike started on a new walk in before Mines then changed to me then his wife was aggressive again towards him In her language and he then went back to the other lady nails. I took it as it’s a problem obviously with her and their dynamics of the nail Salon, the wife checked me out for the white polished toes she didn’t apologize or say anything and had a bad attitude I tipped my pedicure tech and I told Mike and my tech have a happy new year and i left to go get my nails done elsewhere . She is running customers off with her ways. Will never return.
my sister and her friends got pretty nice nails but mine came out terrible. the man didn’t even look at my reference photo after i tried to show it to him multiple times and this is what i got vs. what i wanted. my nails are uneven, rough and the glitter polish isn’t even thick enough to cover the green dye that was trapped under my cuticle from when i did my hair. did not even offer a discount. will not be returning.
This is my FAVORITE nail shop!! I love me sum Magic Mike! I love my nails every time! They all make sure your happy with their work. You really get what you pay for, but in a good way! FYI Kelly did this set n its ???? ????!!!
I am very particular, and the young lady did my French tips in dip powder to absolute perfection. The dipped white tips were exactly the same size and curvature on all 10 of my fingers. Also, I like my nails filed ovally to match my oval diamond; all 10 were filed in exact, matching ovals. I have never had such a wonderful manicure in my life. After trying at least 15 different nail salons in Lafayette over the years, I found this one to be outstanding. I will never go anywhere else.
Honestly. It’s not terrible. Are they great, do I love them? No.. I got short square round light pink nails that are somewhat lumpy and the shape it pointed to a side of the nail. Depending on which one it actually is.
