There is a warming wood burner in the winter months. Seating consists of leather armchairs and sofa's which are really comfortable making you want to linger and enjoy your beer and the atmosphere. There is plenty of seating in the dining area at the rear again adorned with wood panelling. The Chef's home cooked food is superb. Sunday lunch is well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is one changing real ale on offer usually Butty Bach which is so Moorish and kept in great condition by the owner. Also nice to see and taste is Penderyn Whisky which isn't widely available. This is a proper pub with friendly staff and friendly regulars.
