Lovely decor and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. Good food and drinks. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Attractive interior with and eclectic mix of furnishings, lovely tray bakes and coffee, some specials for the kids, quite pricey but isn’t everything these days sadly, worth a visit upstairs is even better to look round
Spent a utterly indulgent afternoon here whilst home for a visit with family. The whole experience was delightful, from entering to be met with a mouthwatering array of cakes, buns and savouries at the counter to the welcoming, efficient and helpful staff to be led upstairs ( busy ground floor seating was packed)while taking in the AMAZING ecellectic decor ( understatement!) Seated at our table by a friendly customer assistant, given our menus and left to settle and decide which of the wide range of drinks, hot or iced ( cotton candy is the work of a fully paid up member of the Willy Wonka society..not just seen to be believed but a full on iced coffee sensation not to be missed) my brother had a gingerbread latte which was Christmas in a long glass, topped with the sweetest Christmas coco stencil... my sip( all I was allowed) was delish! Our friend had an Americano worthy of the name. Her soup of the day would have fed a family, full and hearty vegetables served with wheaten bread. Brother took the recommended chistmas dinner sandwiches, even had gravy for dipping! His smiling face and empty plate said it all ! My Brie and cranberry sandwiches on corse brown bread with green side salad really hit the spot taste wise, salad dressing a refreshing surprise too. I highly recommend! We 'treated' ourselves to a selection of homemade pastries ( been rude not to) along with coffee top ups.
All in all the environment, staff and menu were definitely worth the drive from Belfast, and beyond, we will be back for more, with many thanks. B x
Coffee and scones were lovely. Beautiful decor and staff really friendly
If you like a quaint hideaway, you'll love No8 Court Street. It's a gem of a place with all manner of tasty tray bakes and marvellous scones which need to be tried as my description couldn't do them justice. Tea, coffee etc. all served in beautiful antique style cups and saucers. The tayto cheese and onion sandwiches sum up the range of food on offer. 5*
