Quick Facts About Old Paris Flea Market
Strengths:
1. Wide variety of products: The Old Paris Flea Market offers a diverse range of products, including candles, tools, computers, TVs, shirts, jewelry, stereo, speakers, drinks, and snacks. This wide selection ensures that customers can find something of interest.
2. Fair and reasonable prices: The multiple vendors at the flea market bring in interesting and unique products at fair and reasonable prices. This makes it an attractive shopping destination for bargain hunters.
3. Unique and random treasures: Customers can find surprising and random items for sale at the market, such as dentures, walk-in visits with a chiropractor, drones, puppies, self-portraits by a cartoonist, and more. The presence of these unique treasures adds to the excitement and intrigue of shopping at the flea market.
4. Chiropractic services: The market recently rented a booth space to a chiropractor named Dr. Boyd, who offers adjustments at a reasonable cost of $45. This addition of chiropractic services provides customers with an additional benefit and adds to the overall appeal of the market.
5. ATM availability: While many stands are cash only, the market provides ATM machines at various points inside the market. This ensures that customers have access to cash for their purchases, even if they didn't come prepared.
Weaknesses:
1. Limited opening days: The market is only open two days a week, which restricts the opportunities for customers to visit and shop. This may inconvenience those who have limited availability on those specific days.
2. Scarce parking: The market's parking lot, although large, can be very scarce, especially during peak hours. This can cause frustration and inconvenience for customers who struggle to find parking spaces. Arriving early is suggested to secure a spot.
3. Crowded and hectic environment: Some customers mention the market being crowded, especially on certain days. The increasing number of visitors can make the shopping experience chaotic and overwhelming for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.
4. Pet control issues: Some customers express concerns about pet owners not properly controlling their pets at the market. This can create disturbances and potential conflicts between shoppers and pet owners.
5. Worn-down infrastructure: The market is described as having a worn-down building, which may not provide the most visually appealing shopping environment. While this does not affect the quality of products, it may impact the overall shopping experience for some customers.
6. Management and vendor issues: One customer complains about poor management, stating that there were 50 empty spaces at opening, but they couldn't find a spot to set up their own booth. They mention that vendors from another swap meet arrived at noon after eating elsewhere, causing an influx of vendors. This inconsistency in managing vendor spaces can lead to dissatisfaction and frustration for both vendors and customers.
In conclusion, the Old Paris Flea Market offers a wide variety of products at fair prices, with unique and random treasures to discover. However, it has limitations such as limited opening days, scarce parking, and occasional overcrowding. The market's management and vendor issues also need improvement to ensure a smoother and more organized experience for all. Despite these weaknesses, the market still holds appeal for bargain hunters and those seeking interesting finds.

You can always find something out here! Candles, tools, computers, TVs, shirts, jewelry, stereo, speakers, drinks, snacks, and so on and so on. It's a shame that its only open 2 days a week. Nevertheless, the multiple vendors that are there bring in interesting and unique products at fair and reasonable prices. Even though the parking lot is huge it can be very scarce so arrive as early as possible to get a spot. Definitely check out booth 1 71 for all electronics. TVs, computers, firesticks, tools, and etc.
Hadn't been there in years and I don't know why, I can't wait to go back, lot of good stuff for cheap. Fun times! Saw this interesting car on the way out, said "DASIDEBISH" across the front windshield, lol !
I love this place and go probably once a month on weekends just to check it out. There’s a great selection of affordable household goods and electronics, but they’ve also got some surprisingly random things for sale in there, for example: dentures for $500, walk in visits with a chiropractor for $45, drones for all sorts of prices, puppies (they’re outside), self portraits by a cartoonist, I’m pretty sure there’s a couple of dispensaries, a whole bar to sit and drink at or order food, just a lot of random treasures if you look around. A lot of the stands are cash only but there’s atm’s available inside at various points. I love going here and just exploring.
I love this place so much! They recently rented a booth space to a Chiropractor named Dr. Boyd. He only charges $45 for an adjustment and wow he’s amazing! I’ve never felt better & I’m 33 & have seen getting adjusted since I was about 10 years old due to a car wreck. Long story short, this is my new chiropractor now!!!! ????
I must have picked the wrong day to go. It was so crowded. People please keep your pets on a tight lease and learn to control them better.
Parking was next to impossible... but that is great for them.
I will have to try again to see if I can change this to a 5 star experience
I love going to flea markets. Always find great stuff and I always leave wanting to buy so much more. But this time I found some great shoes and a couple of really cool plastic window panes that look like cathedral windows and I am DIYing them into small shelves. Also got a new stun gun! Can't wait to go back to see what other cool stuff I can find.
What can I say, I like a good bargain... Don't expect a new building. It's worn down but good deals. I would like to be out here but spaces are limited. These are my handcrafted soaps, natural body butters, Chebe oils and unique Coasters.
Poor Management. 50 empty spaces at opening but I can't get a spot.. Management admitted missing vendors ate at other swap meet. Mary's till noon then they come here..This place had nails and razors all over parking lot. Vendors must reserve spot week in advance. The vendors do lose spot if they don't show so swap has 50 empty till noon? They open at nine.. The in flux of vendors at noon is poor management and unfair to vendors who pay and show on time.. The rows should have customers at that time not vendors just getting to second swap because this Paris one was bad sells.. Again Management was extremely rude and Vendors ok.nothing valuable here.
