Best TL Reviews
I had thought it might be a bit grim sitting in the back of the church for a coffee - not at all. The Osier Cafe is a lovely, welcoming space which is bright, airy and warm. The serving staff were jolly and polite. Latte was good and victoria sponge just superb and the cakes on offer looked delicious - we had trouble choosing!
What a superb place to enjoy breakfast/lunch. Everytime I visit I always think I will try something different but always have one of helens delicious quiche served with jacket and salad
New to Stowmarket and have spent each weekend over the last 3 months sampling the fried breakfast within 10 miles at a different establishment each time.
I'll be back just for the breakfast alone but the great/friendly service, cleanliness and good cause (warm fuzzy feeling included even as an atheist) are the cherry on top.
Both egg yolks were runny, toast buttered and bacon actually fried (side eye to you lime tree with the single hard egg no matter how many visits are made or wetherspoons with the microwaved pale pork and rock hard butter)
I only wish that they had the sign on the main road so I had found it sooner
My first review in these 3 months
Met with friends for coffee and chat. Cakes devine and large slice delicious.warm friendly service and bustling with young families. Super Christmas ???? display wonderful place to visit .
Nice breakfast. Good play area for the kids too. Was able to accommodate my sons peanut allergy
Went to visit the cafe at 3 05pm as it says online that they close at 3.35pm wasn't a warm welcome ladies behind the counter where packing up and looked at each other when walked in and mumbled something then started putting the cake stands back on the counter I asked if they where still open for a ice cream nd drink and was told well we do close at 3.15 so information online isn't correct. We would have happily taken our purchase outside with us but git the impression they didn't want to serve anymore.
Nice range of food cake good service out side seating fair prices
The prices are astronomical for thr quality,, the food is mediocre. The staff had absolutely no idea what they were doing , we had to wait for so long for our tea to arrive that we went and got it ourselves, but the staff are very friendly.
The location is beautiful, as it always has been.
It's a crying shame,,,when it first started many years ago, the bistro was once the best place to go,, but its changed hands a couple times and has never been the same since .
