Quick Facts About Pearl Nails & Spa
Pearl Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the place, it is important to consider each aspect mentioned in the comments.
One common complaint is the lack of professionalism from the nail technicians. Multiple customers mentioned that they felt ignored or treated poorly by the staff. This lack of professionalism can be seen as a weakness of Pearl Nails & Spa as it creates a negative experience for customers and may discourage them from returning or recommending the place to others.
Another complaint is the inconsistency in service quality. While some customers had positive experiences and praised the precision and smoothness of their nails, others received sloppy services with dead skin left around the cuticles and polish on their hands. This inconsistency can also be seen as a weakness, as customers cannot rely on consistently good service.
Limited color options were also mentioned as a weakness. Customers expressed disappointment in the lack of variety when it comes to choosing nail polish colors. This can limit the options and preferences of customers, potentially leading them to seek alternatives with a wider range of colors.
On the positive side, some customers had positive experiences with specific nail technicians. They praised their skills, precision, and attention to detail. These positive experiences highlight one of the strengths of Pearl Nails & Spa, which is the presence of skilled technicians who can provide good quality manicures.
Additionally, some customers mentioned that the staff was friendly and nice. This positive customer service experience is another strength of Pearl Nails & Spa. Friendly staff can create a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers, increasing their satisfaction with the overall experience.
A few customers also noted that they appreciated the convenient location of Pearl Nails & Spa. Being close to hotels and easily accessible can be seen as a strength, as it can attract customers who are looking for a nearby nail salon.
However, one of the most significant weaknesses mentioned by multiple customers is the poor quality of the nail services. Many customers complained about nails lifting or coming off within just a few days. This poor quality can be a significant drawback for customers who expect their manicures to last longer.
Another weakness is the issue of overcharging for gel polish. Some customers mentioned that they were charged $20 for gel polish, which they felt was excessive. This pricing issue can be seen as a weakness, as it may discourage customers from opting for gel polish and may make them feel like they are being taken advantage of.
In conclusion, Pearl Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses. The presence of skilled technicians, friendly staff, and convenient location are strengths that can attract customers. However, the lack of professionalism, inconsistency in service quality, limited color options, and poor quality of manicures can be seen as weaknesses that may lead to customer dissatisfaction and a negative reputation for the place.

I didn’t like the service. The nail techs were not professional, The first one that got me seated was going hard to make me get gel. When I choose regular polish she took another customer that came later than me and started doing her pedicure. I ended up opting for a regular French, They got me waiting for a next tech for about 15 minutes and then once the other tech started doing my nails she stopped and took a customer in the middle of for a “quick” service making me feel like my time is not important. Took another 15 minutes doing her service and continue with my service. The lady did not measure my nails and end up with one hand longer nails than the other, super thin and didn’t prep the area before putting the acrylic.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!
I went there to get a dip manicure and it was horrible. I’ve received manicures before so of course I know the process. The women took several short cuts when doing my nails and was extremely sloppy leaving the unwanted dead skin around my cuticles and polish on my hands. When I questioned her process she told me she has done nails for 20 years and she knows what she’s doing. Aside from that the colors are extremely limited.
I received manicures for myself and my two nieces and I am very unhappy with how unprofessional they are.
I was in town for a friend's wedding and wanted to get my nails done. Looked around for a salon and this was the closest to my hotel. I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait a bit. They weren't super busy and they seemed to be prioritizing pedicures (vs my simple manicure). Either way, the woman did a great job with my nails, they came out very smooth and precise.
Everyone was also very nice. Many thanks for the service!
EDIT 2/4: I'm changing my review only because my nails lasted only 7 days.
Had a meh first experience here a few months ago. Then tonight on my way home I stopped in (my dip powder had grown out) and Tina did an AWESOME job on my nails. She took her time also, which was awesome considering it was really close to their closing time. Everyone working was very nice also. As long as she's there, I plan on going back there everytime.
They were not very nice. I walked in no one said hello, they gave off the impression they didn’t really want to help me. I sat there for about 30 minutes before anyone actually came to service me and then they were all rude about helping me at all. The girl who ended up doing my pedicure was as nice as she could be but you could tell she didn’t want to do it. Overall I will not be coming back here.
the best nail pearl places Hanover i will be back meetings to Tina do my best pid-manicure i always tip her 50bk
this place was good at first with customer service and when i got there they said $42 with design for french tip acrylic nails when i asked the man said “ill try” which is a red flag already. i understand some things are hard but french tip is a basic nail design. i had to ask to do two coats because it was clearly see through ans then when they were finished they werent french tip i had to ask him to round them and he waa confused. then after i paid they charged me $50 and when i asked about it they told me that it was because they had to use a tiny brush but that didnt make sense when they already said $42 straight for the design they voided the transaction and wanted me to pay again but then the money was already out of my account and i would have to wait 4-5 days for my money to show up so then i was just asked if they could just give me atleast 5 dollars back they told me it should be in my account and if not come back in a few days. As a customer i shouldnt have to go out of my way and come back. its been 4 days and still they money is not in my account. I appreciate their service and the time they took to do my nails but if you know from the start you cant do it please dont agree to :)
I wouldn’t recommend.
My nails lift/come off after 3 to 4 days and they overcharge for gel polish. It’s $20 if you want gel. That’s more than it would cost to purchase a bottle.
Chief complaint is how quickly my nails come off. I’d rather drive an extra ten minutes and go some place else to keep from coming in every few days because another nail has come off. Poor quality
