Quick Facts About Post Barber Shop
Post Barber Shop is a place that receives mixed reviews from customers. While some appreciate the affordable prices and the convenience of a quick haircut, others express dissatisfaction with the lack of skill and professionalism displayed by the barbers.
One strength of Post Barber Shop is its unbeatable prices. At $12 for a men's haircut, it is a highly affordable option compared to other barbershops in the area. This makes it appealing for customers looking for a budget-friendly option.
Another positive aspect mentioned by some customers is the speed of service. Several comments highlight the quick turnaround time for haircuts at Post Barber Shop. For individuals who prioritize efficiency and don't want to spend a lot of time in the chair, this can be a definite advantage.
Customers also appreciate the convenience of having a barber shop on the military base. Being located on Fort Meade allows easy access for military personnel, retirees, and dependents. This proximity is especially appreciated by those who live or work on the base, as it eliminates the need to travel off-site for a haircut.
However, the weaknesses of Post Barber Shop are evident in several comments. Many customers express dissatisfaction with the barbers' lack of skill and capability. One customer mentioned receiving an incorrect haircut and only noticing it once they got home. This suggests that the barbers may lack attention to detail and precision in their work.
Another common complaint is the limited range of styles offered at Post Barber Shop. It seems that the barbers are more proficient in military-style cuts and fades, but struggle to deliver designs or more intricate cuts. Customers looking for something beyond a basic fade may find themselves disappointed with the results.
Communication and customer service are also mentioned as weaknesses. Several comments criticize the barbers for not listening to their instructions or interrupting them with assumptions about what they want. This lack of attentiveness and disregard for customer preferences can be frustrating and lead to unsatisfactory outcomes.
One customer even experienced a disrespectful act when the barber shaved their mustache without permission. This incident highlights a lack of professionalism and disregard for the customer's wishes. Such actions can lead to feelings of disrespect and dissatisfaction.
Lastly, the inability to address complaints expressed by some customers is seen as a weakness. Several comments mention the desire to complain to the manager but were unable to do so. This lack of a proper channel for customer feedback and resolution of issues can leave customers feeling unheard and dissatisfied.
In conclusion, Post Barber Shop offers affordable prices and quick service, making it an attractive option for individuals on a budget or with limited time. However, the shop falls short in terms of skill, variety of styles, and customer service. Lack of attention to detail, communication issues, and disrespectful behavior contribute to a subpar experience for some customers. With a few areas of improvement, Post Barber Shop has the potential to better meet the needs of its customers and improve customer satisfaction levels.

Don’t go to the lady on the second seat by the register… I asked for a low skin nothing of the tops and this is what I was provided I couldn’t tell until I got home and my wife pointed it out.
The price is unbeatable but if you want anything other than a military style short cut this probably isn’t the place to go. The people who work there seem nice. But most are not professionally capable or skilled comparable to non-military barbershop.
I went here for the first time after my friend recommended and I couldn’t be happier. Jung did an incredible job and she was very personable! I’ll be back and thank you Jung!
It's whatever, if you want a average cut nothing special i mean half the time I don't really like the cut I'm just to lazy and can't be bothered to waste more gas not in this economy ????, and don't feel like looking for something else they're fast and cheap you get what you pay for.
It's a base barber. They aren't there to be world renowned hair stylists, they are there to keep you in regs. If you don't want a basic fade or military cut go somewhere else. Otherwise they tend to do an okay job. I've been going here for over 3 years and only had one bad cut. Don't expect to get anything beyond simple cuts when they charge less then $12 a cut.
This has been the only place I’ve gotten my hair cut, and i would have rated five stars before today. But today I asked for a haircut and she shaved my mustache. Thought she was going for my sideburns and just buzzed the stache. Did a bad job of it, too. Don’t shave my face when I didn’t ask for it because you thought it would look “neat and tidy,” especially when you don’t know what you’re doing. Incredibly disrespectful
On-base barber shop, with men's haircuts for $12 as of June, 2022. They're usually pretty quick, and do a good job. Note this is on Fort Meade, so you'll need to be military, retiree, or dependent to access this barber shop. I don't believe they do women's hair, but there's a salon next door.
Gave this place a second chance haircut. Since I had a messed up haircut the first time, I tried explaining to a different barber I wanted a (LOW FADE). Was interrupted and told "I know what you want, I know how to do it". Then I was given a (HIGH FADE) again! It is as if they only know one kind of haircut.
A high fade is fine but to be cut off and told they know how to do their job is plain rude. They also cut hair as fast as possible as if they are being timed or want fast turnovers for more tip. Both barbers I had were rude and did not listen to the customer at all. If I could complain to the manager I would. Customers do not deserve to have their hair butchered and not receive what they want.
