Quick Facts About Regal Nails Salon & Spa
Regal Nails Salon & Spa has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, some customers mentioned that the work done by the technicians at Regal Nails is well done and has lasted. This indicates that the salon uses quality products and techniques, resulting in nails that withstand wear and tear. Additionally, one customer specifically mentions that Kim is amazing and the only technician they will go to for their mani/pedi. This shows that Regal Nails has capable and talented staff members who provide satisfactory services to some customers.
Furthermore, several comments indicate that the prices at Regal Nails are fair. One customer mentions that the price for a gel manicure was $40, which they found reasonable. This suggests that Regal Nails provides competitive pricing, making their services accessible to a range of customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, a recurring complaint from multiple customers is the rushed and poor quality of the services provided at Regal Nails. Many customers express disappointment with the rushed and sloppy job done on their nails. One customer even mentions that the nails are lumpy and uneven, with cuts on their fingers. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for the quality of work performed by the technicians.
Moreover, some customers mention issues with communication due to a language barrier. This suggests that the salon may employ staff members who are not fluent in English, making it difficult for customers to communicate their desires and preferences accurately. One customer even shares a negative experience where the staff made unkind comments about their appearance, leaving a negative impression and resulting in the customer stating they will not return. This indicates a lack of professionalism and unkind behavior by the staff members.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the rushed nature of the services provided. One customer explains how their $45+ pedicure was rushed, and they felt like they received only 20 minutes of actual pedicure time. This suggests that the salon prioritizes volume over quality and may not allocate enough time for a thorough and relaxing experience for their customers.
Lastly, there are complaints about the prices not matching the services received. One customer mentions being charged $40 more than usual for the same services, while another customer states that the $60 gel polish they received did not last even a week. These pricing inconsistencies and disappointment with the longevity of the services suggest a lack of transparency and consistency in pricing and the use of quality products.
In conclusion, while Regal Nails Salon & Spa has strengths such as well-done work, fair pricing, and talented staff members, it also has significant weaknesses including rushed and sloppy services, communication issues, unprofessional behavior from staff, and pricing inconsistencies.

I’m so sick of nail techs just rushing through doing nails- volume over quality!!! I shouldn’t have given them another try. Every single time I’ve had my nails done here (mani or pedi), I leave disappointed. This has been at least 10 times. I was desperate so I gave them another try. These are some of the sloppiest nails I’ve had done. Not one single nail is the same shape, nor the shape I wanted. The nail surface is lumpy. They “bulge out” on several nails where the tips attach to the nail. I have *4 cuts* on my fingers. They’re not even close to the shape I wanted (I wanted coffin and I got squares). One nail is super crooked altogether. I’ve just ordered supplies to be able to fix them properly myself. $70 to leave unhappy and have to spend money to fix them myself. I’ve tried this place too many times, but they just don’t care about the quality of work/final
result they produce, it’s all about doing it as fast as possible.
Went in for a gel manicure. I had the remnants of my last one and she seemed annoyed that she had to remove the old polish. Then proceeded to roughly manhandle each of my fingers with the drill. At one point she even told me to relax even though I was, my fingers do not bend like she wanted. After a hasty filing, she immediately started painting in which I had no chance to inspect her progress. After two coats of polish I could still see the tips of my natural nail through them. She then started my cuticle care afterward and then placed lotion on my hands. I had not washed my hands at all prior to so there was dead skin and nail residue all over my hands. No massage was given, and after my departure I’ve noticed that my nail edges are both jagged and uneven.
Definitely not pleased with my experience even though I had hope since the other patrons appeared to be long standing customers. The price was fair at $40 but I will not be coming back.????
The work these ladies do is well done and has lasted. The language barrier is almost more than can be overcome though. We had a VERY difficult time communicating our desires with them and they with us. One point of displeasure was being told that our eyebrows were ugly and we didn't take good care of our cuticles. It was my daughter's birthday treat and it was hurtful that the memory of her treat is mixed with these ladies unkind comments to her. We won't be back. Update: After receiving the response of the owner I am even more convinced they have no grasp of the English language. They said they hope to make our next experience "an even better one". We won't be back due to their unkind comments to my daughter on her birthday. No, she did not have a good birthday because of the unkind words you said to her. How sad it made me to hear her tell me that your employees insulted her. I'm sorry would have been more in order than "hope to see you again soon so we can make the next experience an even better one".
Kim is amazing. The only place I will go to have my mani/pedi done,Love this nail salon!!
I had gone to Regal nail salon in the Super Walmart shopping store in Gulf Breeze, Fl however since Henery passes the man who did the pedicures. (Wonderful person RIP Henery). This place is no longer a nice place to go and get quality service.
If you want to relax and get quality work performed don't go here! These women are rude and mean-spirited! They clipped my Cuticles on my hands and left my fingers bleeding and weren't Apologetic or polite. I made an appointment the next time and they still made me wait for total Rudeness. The nail techs have certain people they cater to and if it's not you too bad.
I will NEVER go back to the Regal Nails salon in the super Walmart center located in Gulf Breeze, Fl ever again.
I will not be treated badly and then pay my money for it. I can take my money someplace where people are kind and earn my business.
I went here for a pedicure. I wanted the super deluxe (not sure what it's called. It was the one for 45$+ also got 10$ gel +5$ hot stones) with hot stones. It was rushed, my person was distracted, and it was not even close to worth it. My nails have held up but it is not worth the money they charge for 20 minutes of actual pedicure (massage, hot stones, paint, etc), if that. If you're looking for quick sit time, not thorough, then this place is for you.
Used to be my go to place until the charged me $40 more than usual, same services I always get... She didn't even use oil on my feet when she started filing. They tried to doy hands the same time as my feet (we all know this is to cut time and get more customers seen) but i told them not to do that. Pedicure felt very rushed and not thorough as prior visits. Didn't use any salts or crystals even though I asked for super deluxe pedicure. Then when she rang me up it was $25 more than what she told me for a total of $150... Are you kidding me? And wasn't even offered water let alone some wine or something... That price I'll have to take my business elsewhere
I got a pedicure, and although it appeared lovely, the polish on each toe fell off completely - I returned after only 1 week to have 2 toe polishes repaired, and I had gotten the expensive gel polish - $60 with tip. Would not recommend!
