Quick Facts About RF Patisserie (Blackburn)
RF Patisserie in Blackburn has received mostly positive comments regarding their food, service, and ambience. However, there are a few criticisms that need to be addressed. In this analysis, we will examine the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that the décor and atmosphere of RF Patisserie are commendable. One customer mentions being in awe of the pretty decor and the pleasant ambience for a lovely afternoon brunch. This indicates that the establishment has put effort into creating an aesthetically pleasing space for customers to enjoy their meals. Additionally, the food receives high praise for both taste and presentation. Customers specifically mention that the food is cooked to perfection, with fresh ingredients and an explosion of flavors. The desserts, in particular, are highly regarded, indicating that the patisserie excels in this area. The staff are also frequently commended for their friendliness and level of service. Customers mention being seated promptly and receiving their food promptly after ordering. Special mention is given to a manager named Hussain for his exceptional service. These positive comments highlight the strong customer service offered at RF Patisserie.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the major criticisms mentioned is the length of time it took for food to be prepared and served. One customer mentions waiting over 30 minutes for their order of mini croissants, which is deemed unacceptable considering the relatively low capacity of the restaurant at the time. This suggests that the establishment may struggle with efficiency and timeliness during peak periods. Another criticism relates to the prices, with a customer noting that they are on the steep side for the portion sizes. However, it is acknowledged that there may not be many alternatives in the area, which somewhat justifies the pricing. Additionally, one customer had a negative experience with their breakfast, mentioning that the food was bland, cold, and not worth the price. This indicates a lack of consistency in the quality of food offered. Lastly, a customer mentions that the toilets have a weird smell, which reflects negatively on the cleanliness of the establishment.
In conclusion, RF Patisserie in Blackburn has several strengths that contribute to its appeal, including a pleasant ambience, delicious food, and friendly staff. However, the establishment also has some weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as slow service during peak periods, high prices for portion sizes, inconsistent quality of food, and cleanliness issues in the toilets. By addressing these weaknesses, RF Patisserie can further improve the overall dining experience for its customers.

We usually attend the Bolton branch but decided to try the Blackburn one today. Everything was amazing and absolutely on point. Decor was so pretty to look at and i was so in awe that i completely forgot to take any pics whilst daydreaming! Such a great ambience for a lovely afternoon brunch though!!!
I was very impressed with being seated straight away and food arriving very promptly after ordering. Everything looked amazing and tasted absolutely delicious. Very impressed with the explosion of favours!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even checked on us numerous times during our visit. A special thank you to the manager (i think it was Hussain) for looking after us today.
Only disappointment was that we were too full from our meals and didnt have space for dessert. Guess that calls for another visit soon!
5 star food and service!
Had a person called Hussain serve us, who was very respectful and friendly, brilliant job!
The food was cooked to perfection, everything fresh and tasted amazing.
Highly recommend this place and the food I had!
All the food tasted and looked excellent, thought their strength clearly lies in the Dessert Menu. Staff were friendly for the most part and accommodating when it came to seating. Unfortunately the length of time if took to prepare our food marred the whole experience especially as it was a weekday afternoon and the restaurant was only roughly 60% capacity. We only received the 4 mini Croissants over 30 minutes after ordering and the rest 10 minutes after. The prices are a bit on the steep side for the portion sizes but there's not many, if any, places like this in the area so maybe they are reasonable especially for a one off visit every now and then.
I would recommend for someone looking for a place where the owners have put care and thought into their Food and would probably visit again, hopefully when the place becomes more established and waiting times improve.
I enjoyed my time in RF Patisserie.Nice presentation on plates and the atmosphere took me back a little to the Middle East. Girls worked hard but with a smile. Flavours could improve here and there but overall I would go back again yes.
Gave this place a try for breakfast and to be honest was a bit disappointed, price does not reflect quality in anyway apart from the french toast everything else was bland and cold. You can get better quality food at other establishments at lower cost. Even the pancakes looked from a packet and not fresh. Overall a bad experience and won’t be back in a hurry. Kids meals at £4.50 for beans, egg and toast. The toast came with a garlic spread which I found really bizarre specially when it’s not described in the menu.
Does have a large selection in the menu so maybe other items live up to the hype but wouldn’t visit again for breakfast.
The brunch at RF is outstanding. Every time im in the north i’ll make an effort to pop in. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the food is mouth watering and their new mocktail, Strawberry Passion, was so refreshing in the heat. Love the food, love the service. Definitely would recommend.
We have ordered takeaway from them before and it has always been lovely.
We decided to dine-in for lunch on our mums birthday and ordered the lasagne meal with mashed potatoe, a cheese and onion pie meal, crispy chicken burger meal and a shawarma with fries meal.
We also took some cheese cakes home.
We have to say from presentation to the freshly cooked food to all the mouth watering delicious meals that we ordered were a huge hit from all of us very picky eaters.
Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again soon.
On arrival we were seated quickly by the lovely young lady. We ordered sliders, 2 Indian thaalis, and a Mumbai sandwich, which took quite long to come. I had the Mumbai sandwich and it was average. The toilets had a weird smell. Nice of staff for checking on us though.
